So we're about 20 years away from a bunch of Philip Rivers kids throwing to a bunch of Tyreek Hill's kids?
LOL.... see it now Super Bowl LXXX pits Rivers against Rivers and Hill against Hill.
Also a lesser known story line is will which Cromartie brother will pick off a Rivers brother while shutting down Hill brother.

Few more may be represented in the game.

It's funny McVay is one of the longest tenured, only Andy Reid and Billie B have a better career resume and yet he is still the youngest coach in the NFL.

John Harbaugh, Ravens: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)
Zac Taylor, Bengals: +2200 (bet $10 to win $230 total)

How the hell does Shanahan have better odds than McVay for coach of the year? Shanahan has the most stacked roster in the NFL.

That was last week. Pretty sure that flips, Harbaugh and Stefanski move up, and Todd Bowles and McDermott enter consideration (McDermott deserves credit for making the hard, risky, needed decision to fire the OC).

Why the fuck hasn’t the Dolphins/Ravens game this week been flexed to Sunday night?! It’s one of the biggest games of the season and it’s likely for home field in the AFC. Yet they are apparently going to keep Packers/Vikings as the Sunday night game despite both of those teams being on the outside looking in in the playoff race. That makes no sense at all, can someone please explain it?
It doesn’t matter to me because I purchased NFL SundayTicket, plus I live in Florida where the Dolphins games are shown, but they clearly need to flex that game to Sunday night.

While I agree that it probably should be, I'm glad it isn't because I have to get up for work at 4:30 A.M. Monday and staying up past midnight ain't happening, lol.

There are multiple factors in play:
1) Teams can only be selected a limited number of times per season.
2) TV broadcasters can protect several games from their rivals per season.
3) Flexing must be announced a set minimum time before the games are played.
4) There are limits on the amount of games that can be flexed.
5) TV companies are beholden to tv advertisers. Advertisers want viewers. Viewers want certain franchises rather than the teams that are currently contenders. The big tv draws are the Cowboys, Packers, and Steelers. If the best 2 teams were the Seahawks and the Cardinals that match-up would be unlikely to be flexed into SNF because most of the US wouldn't tune in to watch it.
