I like the defensive heavy draft from the Jags. Fowler coming back as well, they are setting it up nicely.

Not sure it leads to fantasy success, but maybe less yard and more TDs?

There are odd things happening in the universe. I am working harder on fantasy football than I am on baseball.

Wanna take a break from your stressful dynasty league draft? Read (some of us still do that) this:

So, so good. And yes, Chevy really was a dick.

What do you guys think of Desean Jackson this season? I noticed in both suicide leagues he was selected in the 10th round a big steal imo, but maybe i'm missing something? He was the 2nd Wide Receiver on my board(behind DBG) starting in the 7th round in our draft after Lockett was taken.

He's always been a boom or bust WR. Now there is the added question of maybe being a cap causality. Both him or Gracon could be cut and save $8 million in cap space. Gracon has $2 dead money and D.Jac $1.25 in dead money. Course both are in the last year of their contract so the Redskin may just wait a year and just let walk at that time.

I picked him in the 10th. He actually was pretty decent in the second half last year. Still, I worry about his health and "hunger". If he stays healthy he should be the highest scoring WR they have.

Harold and TKO have covered the take on DJax nicely. I've always liked the guy, but he is a crapshoot.

I think the tenth is about fair game. He can throw up 20+ any given week, he can score 3 or less any given week. His boom or bust play that's been his M.O. since his early days, is getting more bost than boom every year. he's still a decent asset to have, but you'll never want to have to start him. But he's fun to watch on those bye weeks where you are depending on him.

This was just hilarious-

"Andre Williams - RB - Giants
Giants RB Andre Williams lost 10 pounds this offseason.

He now checks in at 220 pounds. The lost weight should allow him to slam into the backs of his blockers with more velocity"

Eric Karabell (while talking about Orlando Arcia): "...he should be up soon, he's probably available in shallower leagues, although he was available in my 20 team league until an hour ago. I never think of these things."

Seriously Eric? You're a "fantasy writer". For some reason, your articles are not free. "Insider material". You also do a fantasy podcast every day!

....I guess this should have been on baseball..whoops. oh well, I know a few here share my hatred for Karabell.

Just another fine example of how bad Karabell is. I am wondering what type of 20 team league this is and what the parameters are.

Seriously, on ESPN the only analyst I have any respect for is Cockroft.

Yup. Not even close. At least Cockroft knows what he's talking about... despite his annoying tendencies of which there is many.

This has been my beef with Karabell since I got into FF.
According to FantasyPros, Karabell's accuracy was 54.7% or 96th out of a 123 "experts."
He is one of the worst in his predictions, and yet you have to pay to get his analysis.
Good thing I'm cheap.
I would go Opposite George on his picks even if his advice was free!

Should be noted that the top (#1 ranked) expert was correct 59.9% of the time.

And I would expect his baseball is even worse.

On a lighter note... ODB is dating a Kardashian. He is now on my do not draft list.

@obxyankeefan and anyone else familiar with Fantrax's league options?

In one of the leagues that I'm commish, there has been a growing interest to play double-header games each week. I know ESPN does not allow this (for FREE anyway). Does Fantrax or Yahoo have an option for double-header schedules in the FREE leagues?

Yes

Go into Commisioner.
League Setup.
Teams and schedules
Schedule
In the column Number of matchups each team plays during each period

You can change that number to the number of opponents for each week.

Oh, those wacky Vikings; Kyle Rudolph says he's one of the best tight ends in football and Mike Wallace says he's a better receiver now than when he was in Pittsburgh.
