shoot, if I had decent options available, I'd probably advise benching DJ, or anyone for that matter, against the Vikes.

and the 2015 panthers were above average pass rush wise, and we're only 11th vs the pass, an elite guy like Julio had damned well better beat that matchup

I think Norman specifically is the more notable part of that but you get my point. Matchups matter for everyone but less so for the studs no matter the position.

Dunno why AB is even part of the discussion, but whatev.

As to ODB, or OBJ or whatever his nickname is this week... Is it fair to say that the truly elite WRs rise above bad QBs and terrible teams? When he shows he can do that on a consistent basis, I'll put him in that category. A little maturity wouldn't hurt either.

Just my opinion, folks! :dhd::dhd::dhd:

I've always liked ODB, even though it's an incorrect anagram...he's an ol' dirty bastard, it fits

He had the exact same QB last year and they weren't really a good team then either. His "bad" season is basically him scoring less TDs than usual (something that should normalize as the season progresses). He's fine. Not to mention players at all positions go through random hot and cold streaks.

Maybe. We'll see. That "exact same" QB is fading, they have a bad offensive line, a new head coach and OC (whose love of the 'Dink and Dunk' has been documented).

I'm not ready to anoint him as elite just yet.

Oh, I forgot one more thing about the Giants: they have no consistent running backs. ;)

especially now. ..since he's already played, he's locked into your roster

I didn't start Hunter Henry (I decided to go with Jimmy Graham), so I'm still allowed to drop Henry this week in my league. However, I definitely won't drop him. With the scarcity of TE options, he's just too valuable. Plus, he's nice insurance in case Jimmy Graham gets injured. I would only let go of Henry in a trade or if he gets injured.

Thankfully, it looks like Coates will play and I don't have to drop anyone to add a WR for this week. I'm only carrying 3 WR's (Hopkins, Crabtree and Coates) and I need to add one in order to deal with coming bye weeks. I will just wait until this week is done and I'll add whomever I can after I drop the Titans defense that is subbing in for my Minny D/ST this week.

As you shouldn't. He's starting to become a nice playmaker on that offense.

LOL. He's one of the few talented healthy bodies left on that offense. They often use him as a WR. He was in the slot on that TD last night. If my league had FLEX, I would consider using Henry as my FLEX with Jimmy Graham as my TE.

My wife - who doesn't watch football mind you - looked at the Chargers-Broncos uniforms and said they were hideous.
I was thinking of @TKOSpikes who probably couldn't tell which team was which.

I thought the Broncos' unis actually made the Chargers' unis look pretty good. ;)

interesting league settings. never been in one where you could move a player who has already played, regardless of whether you started them or not

  • Is it just me or are the Packers regressing on offense?
  • If the Raiders move to Las Vegas, will they be the Las Vaiders?
  • Yes, Julio Jones was mugged at the end of the Seahawks game. Same officials from interception-gate?
  • Media says Brian Hoyer is doing a marvelous job. Um... he can't complete a pass beyond 7 yards it seems.
