Doctson will not be own able in fantasy this year, but he is an elite dynasty option. He has a ton of talent and will have opportunity to match in year 2.

This. He's not even close to my radar in a non dynasty league. But in dynasty? He's sooooo much more likely to be a stud than anybody but Zeke Treadwell and coleman. I mean just ask the best talent evaluators in the world.

Doesn't he have Achilles problems, I like Doctson, but Achilles problems can be worrisome.

There were concerns (and frankly I was VERY concerned with them) but even with them I was taking him 1.04 at the latest. Now he's running routes full speed and tbh I see no reason to worry. I mean seriously, I can't wrap my head around this. I mean think back predraft. It was a pretty clear Doctson/Coleman/Treadwell/Henry/Zeke upper tier. Let's not over think this. Draft talent.

And then there's my opinion that rookies are nothing but a headache and waste of time.

I noticed that the leash is getting shorter even with real NFL clubs.
This past week, NFL teams cut quite a number of 2nd and 3rd round picks from just 2 and 3 years ago.

With the pressure for teams to "win now" it seems like players really do need to be NFL ready and start showing immediately that they deserved to be drafted so high.

If they don't, or if they are on trainer's tables, or if the former NFL regime drafted them specifically for their system which is now gone, the mentality now seems to be to cut their losses and move on.

DL Ego Ferguson - was 2014 2nd round pick of Bears.
LB Corey Lemonier - was 2013 3rd rounder by 49ers.
TE Jace Amaro - was 2014 2nd round pick of Jets. (#49 overall)
WR Aaron Dobson - was 2013 2nd round pick of the Patriots.
Other top NFL picks released included TE Rob Housler; RB Andre Williams; RB Ronnie Hillman
The patience to give these guys time even from the NFL is gone. And since most rookies underwhelm anyway... well... that's why I tend to stay away from them.

Absolutely man, I enjoy the debating especially since everybody on here really knows their shit. If everyone on here agreed with me it wouldn't be worth coming on. Wouldn't be worth being in leagues with people you agree with everything on either.

So I got the FantasyPros thing.

Analysis: All my teams suck.

Prognosis: All my teams are going to get their asses kicked.

Hey, are basketball or hockey still playing? :pound::pound::pound:

Never believe that thing... I've had some years where it said I was top 2 in power rankings after the draft only to finish bottom 2 in the league. And vice versa! A lot can happen over the course of a few months in fantasy football!

Yeah, I was scratching my head at some stuff. I like this in-depth version, tho. Bunch of things to check out, like having a new toy.

Seattle is being very coy about the readiness of Rawls. He has been practicing for a while, without limitations, yet Pete wants to bring him along slowly. I understand wanting to ease him back in, but there seems to be some conflicting reports about if this is a committee now or still an open competition for lead dog role.

Is Rawls grandfathered into the #1 role no questions asked b/c he beat Michael out last year? Or do you think they view it like this is a new year and last year is in the past = this is a competition for the top spot? How do you see this shaking out?

I'd have to think they give Rawls the nod over CMike, but I also fully believe that they won't force carries on a guy coming back from a late season broken ankle.

Might've been the plan all along to rest him out of the gate, which is why they've been heaping praise onto CMike.

For what it's worth, Christine is ranked ahead of Rawls on the week 1 depth chart.

Yeah looks like CM may start with Rawls also playing. Makes sense to ease Rawls back into playing.:gaah:

Don't worry, Harold. I have CM on 3 teams and I'm leaning towards starting him on all 3. That means Rawls will run for a gazillion yards and 5 TDs. ;)

It remains to be seen how slowly Rawls is brought along. 1/3 total snaps? 1/4? Do you start CMike over a Jeremy Langford who should absolutely see more snaps, but against a tougher D?

If you go by Pete Carroll, Rawls will be slowly worked in over the first couple of weeks.

And we all know coaches never lie. :D

As for snaps, my prediction: The first game, Rawls gets none.
