I agree, just cancelled a few of those services to hold down the cost.Well, whatever. I've got a shitload of streaming services already, I'm not gonna bow down to the Lords of the NFL and add another one.
Jacobs ran it 16 times, Henry 13 times, Barkley 24, certainly Eagles made use of Barkley but Jacobs seemed like a after thought.Loved what I saw last night, both teams 20 rushing attempts, more in Philly, to the RB's- and it worked! If not for an I'll advised 2 pt attempt, both teams would've scored 30+.
Stick to it, keep pounding, doesn't matter if your first 5, 6, 7 carries are crap, eventually the dam will break, you'll get those 10, 20, 30 yard runs, and you will open up AJ Brown for 60 yard bombs, you will open up 70 yard bombs to Jayden Reed
I would bet a dime to a dirty dishrag you've opened yourself to an impassioned Treff response. ....Jacobs ran it 16 times, Henry 13 times, Barkley 24, certainly Eagles made use of Barkley but Jacobs seemed like a after thought.
Maybe. In one of my leagues I had Jacobs going and my opponent had Barkley. All game long I was rooting for Jacobs to get the ball like he did in the first drive but the Packers were passing, passing, passing. He did break a run with 2 minutes left in the third. I felt the Packers could of run Jacobs a lot more. Jacobs got 3 extra carries over Henry, not a big difference. Barkley got 11 more carries and was used in the red zone now that was more like what Treff is talking about.I would bet a dime to a dirty dishrag you've opened yourself to an impassioned Treff response. ....
With Love injured I bet Jacobs gets more work going forward.Maybe. In one of my leagues I had Jacobs going and my opponent had Barkley. This is a case where the fantasy perspective diverges from the real football perspective.Jacobs ran it 16 times, Henry 13 times, Barkley 24, certainly Eagles made use of Barkley but Jacobs seemed like a after thought.
Well, did I say Jacobs, or did I say GB RB's? Because they got 20. Ravens got 14.. and they both lost, and it ain't like either team was ever down big...Jacobs ran it 16 times, Henry 13 times, Barkley 24, certainly Eagles made use of Barkley but Jacobs seemed like a after thought.
Unfortunately, if he is out for any length of time, Willis isn't scaring anyone and the entire Packers O is screwed altogetherWith Love injured I bet Jacobs gets more work going forward.
Yep - puts a damper on several of my teams. Latest word is MCL sprain. Gonna miss some time but not season ending at least. Guess it's a good thing I have Daniels/Nix (hope they are as advertised) in OS and Goff/Carr in Bandits. ... perhaps I can survive.Unfortunately, if he is out for any length of time, Willis isn't scaring anyone and the entire Packers O is screwed altogether
I just got done watching the game. It was a sloppy affair, to be sure.As to Jacobs and his 16 carries, I'll just say this.. it worked, to a point. His first 6 were basically nothing (4 yards), but those, along with Wilson's 4, and the Oline beating on the Eggle front seven, helped wear down the D, Jordan Love wasnt sacked after the second drive and it opened up the passing game. And Jacobs next 10 carries generated 80 yards. If GB wasn't likewise worn down by Barkley and the Eagles oline beating on them all night, maybe they could've not let Philly have a 7:25 drive in the 4th, and Jacobs could've had another 4 or 5 carries.
