Anybody know the mechanics of Yahoo's waiver system and IR players?

I know if you have a player in an IR slot that no longer has a designation eligible for IR, it won't let you add players until you adjust your roster (drop a player and move the IR player to you bench). But what happens if you already put a waiver claim in BEFORE the IR player is no longer eligible? Will the waiver process as is or will it cancel out your waiver?

I put in a waiver claim for a player last night just to get it out of the way and this morning a player I have on IR is no longer eligible for IR. So far, I haven't gotten any kind of warning saying my waiver won't process. I know for a fact that if I made the waiver move today, it wouldn't let me do it until I took my player off IR

Almost confident enough in my guess to say I know it.

I'll try for Mills, but not anyone with more than a week of starting is available.

Also I assume if you like Trubisky that Browning is long gone.

So ALERT for everyone that uses Yahoo fantasy, this can be a useful roster tactic that you can take advantage off. Roster designations that affect IR eligibility usually change on Tuesday mornings, so if you want to make a waiver (traditional claim or faab) without having to take a person of IR, put in the claim BEFORE Monday night/early Tuesday morning. This is very helpful for those players that might be week to week where they are ruled out for the week (you can put them on IR) but might play the next week so they get slapped with a Doubtful or Questionable tag (not eligible for IR) and the team waits until the last minute to rule them out. This way you can keep them on your IR, keep the player you're replacing them with, and still make a waiver move without having to drop that replacement player.

I want to brag for a minute while the Lions are killing it tonight.
When I drafted at the start of the year. Yahoo had my worst graded draft pick as Laporta.
I felt good about that pick. Fast forward to today. I often see Laporta ranked around the top three every week for TEs!

Well rookie TE's, historically crap. Luckily they play him as a WR more so than a TE, so it works
