Packers D tonight is man2man with anybody not covering someone go after Henry. Basic D against a basic O. Been a pretty enjoyable game so far to me.
Yeah, I'm diggin' it. Won't be a Thursday Night Snoozer.

And there's the boom.

Tanny time is over. Can't wait to see the replay on whom he was throwing to.

One more thing: 25 degrees and snow flurries make for "tough conditions"?

Wow.

Where are all the people that had the Colts winning the AFC South over the Titans in preseason at these days?

No harm no foul, as long as you pay tribute and bend the knee to King Henry

I would like to insure that I am not among those who thought the Colts would win the division. I had the Titans winning, Colts second. Obviously my predicted W/L record is going to be shot to shit, for both teams, but the standings still have a chance, as they are currently sitting exactly as I predicted.

Of course that's one of the very few things I'm currently on pace to be right about, but I'll take every win I can get.

you were in good company.
the guys I drink beers with in my neighborhood and myself also had the Titans over the Colts.

I was thinking 10 wins would take the division but I could see Titans ending up with 11 or 12 now. Chiefs are the only team to score more than 17 since week 3 and they scored 20. Very impressive for a team that makes as many mistakes in the secondary as the Titans.

probably drinking their sorrows away with the people who took taylor with their 1st pick:suds:

I took CMC where I could in the first 3 spots this year, hoping the return of Eli won't dampen CMC's rushing upside too much in that offense. I think Eli rides the pine in any game SF trails, but they don't face a tough test rest of way, seeing Zona 2x, WAS, LV, NO, TB, with Miami the only really strong team left on their list.

Well, now I'm curious. @TREFF , your thoughts?

ESPN's Dan Graziano reports the Raiders could release QB Derek Carr after the season to avoid paying the final three years of his contract.

The Raiders signed Carr to a three-year extension in April. While it's unlikely they move on from Carr a year after he recruited WR Davante Adams to Vegas, Carr's deal has no guarantees left. Releasing him would leave only $5 million in dead money. The Raiders project for a top-five pick, giving them a chance to draft Carr's replacement, and there are rumors of HC Josh McDaniels reuniting with ex-Patriots QB Tom Brady this offseason. The Raiders have until three days after the Super Bowl to make a decision on Carr. Carr has a $32.9 million base salary next year and would be owed a guaranteed $7.5 million in 2024 if he's on the post-February roster.

I wouldn't even care if they paid him the three years, just get someone in their that can make plays. So sick of his ultra efficient BS that never translates into wins. I realize it's a pure crapshoot to start over, and or might take a decade to find another good one, but shit, try something.
