This is huge, he’s a great reciever, I wonder why the Rams want to trade him? I’ve heard rumors that Stafford may retire, I wonder if the Rams are looking to rebuild perhaps?

The CommandoSkins trade for Garrett and Kupp (Kupp will prob. only cost a 4th round) an then go onto various Super Bowls. Taylor Swift breaks up with Kelce and writes another song about how terrible he was while she bangs Daniels for a few years, and Mahomes flames out after this year running an underground sex operation.

Eh nothing shocks me anymore. Whatever. When does baseball start?

Can't stay healthy/on the field. Costs too much. Better to find some other team to overpay. Just what it is.

Yeah he has been injury prone but when he’s healthy he’s a major weapon - almost 2000 yards the last season he played in every game, the year the Rams won the Super Bowl. Will be interesting to see where he goes.

He is almost certainly going to need a paycut

Well, he's about to be 32... and will cost $20M for this season on a pre 6/1 trade for the acquiring team. I imagine it will be a short 1 year rental to some team like Washington or perhaps even the Raiders/Pats to absorb the blow while only giving up a 4th/5th.

I can't imagine Kupp will fetch anymore than a 4th. Crazy to think that, but the injury history and cap hit you'd absorb (along with needing to think about resigning) is nowhere worth. Not to mention receivers of his age are seeing very little value in return of draft stock. If someone can move a 4th for him (again the aforementioned teams) that's a good move by both orgs.

Is there a market for past their prime over paid receivers?

There is teams with some cap with younger QBs that could be perfectly a fit. Raiders, Commandoskins, Pats, etc. They'll be able to absorb quite a bit of cap ($20M or so) for something stable to help journeymen QBs.

Washington already has a $20million a year receiver. Be kinda surprised to see them pay two.

You might right on Vegas though. Tough to enter a season with a TE as your #1 option.

I hear you. Valid points all around.

But I still don't want him in the AFC!

*shoves Kupp in the AFC*

I don’t think he even brings in a 4th

4th would be an overpay if it's anyone but the Skins who COULD be competing. Otherwise Kupp with the contract is worth a 5th at best.

You guys have a ton of cap room but also a limited roster for 25... that said, if I can get Kupp for a 4th and 'go' at $20M I'd pull the trigger. Rams can still release without much penalty. You'll have to give up something. Better than giving Higgins some 4 year $120M contract, lmao.

Kupp will end up in either KC or New England where there are ex-Rams players or coaches. I suspect the Rams will get a 4th or 5th Rounder for him since they don't have a 5th rounder in the upcoming Draft. H eis at the end of his career. There are other younger players who are in the wings and the Rams may draft a couple of WRs this draft to move the chains. We shall see.

Stafford just said he will be back

His salary, age, injury history are the main reasons
