You not only getting a unselfish player, but one that helps other WRs get better. Puka will be the first one to give credit to Cooper Kupp on his development as a player.

Guy is smart as fuck and a future coach.

Thanks for everything triple crown champ.

I'd shove McVay too if I had the chance that FUCK!

You don't treat your Seahawks dad like that.

Seattle won thr division 3 out of the last 4 seasond before McVay came and won it only once during his time.

I don't believe any team will want him at $20M. The Rams will have to give away additional compensation for a trade to happen before the roster bonus is due. After that Kupp will be due $12.5M in salary. I'm not sure how teams will view him at that price. Obviously if no team thinks he's worth more than $12.5M then he'll eventually be cut.

Nice to see someone else understand cap room/penalties/void years/aging/injuriy/etc. IMO Rams will be lucky to get a 4th for him. A 5th-6th is more reasonable, but there are some WR desperate teams with young or no QBs that could push it a bit (because of great cap room).

This is huge, he’s a great reciever, I wonder why the Rams want to trade him? I’ve heard rumors that Stafford may retire, I wonder if the Rams are looking to rebuild perhaps?
On the wrong side of 30, can't stay healthy since the Super Bowl, Puka is basically the same type of reciever but is now clearly the better player.

Is there a market for past their prime over paid receivers?

You also have to admit that he has fallen off by QUITE a bit.

IMO no one trades for him. Or if they do it will be a swap of late round picks that really doesnt amount to anything.

Just to give you an idea about 1) How good he was and 2) How far he has fallen.

In his best season, he caught 75% of the balls thrown his way and on average he was getting 13.4 yards per reception.
Last year he caught only 67% of the balls thrown his way and on average he was getting only 10.6 yards per reception.

Last years numbers are very pedestrian. Certainly not worthy of a $20M a year contract. Why I would be shocked if someone actually agreed to take on his contract.

Like I said, someone like the Commandoskins could stand to benefit from his leadership with how young that team is. But the compensation is going to be LOOOOOW. I think I said earlier like 6th round kind of stuff. The advantage is you don't have to fight to sign him with other teams... McLaurin and Kupp could allow the Skins to not force things at WR in the draft or FA (avoid Tee Higgins who will want a HUGE contract) and target OL while making a play for Garrett.
