lol I believe our 3rd rd pick too.

Yep.

The trade basically was 2016 2nd, Eagles's 2016 2nd, 2017 1st and 2017 3rd to move from #12 to #1. They also essentially traded down from 2016 3rd to Titans 2016 4th and 2016 6th.

I really like Fish but giving him an extension NOW after that SHIT SHOW vs the 49ers seems a bit weird.

Agreed about the timing, but I'm not a fan of Fish, never really was but was willing to give him a shot. Always thought his teams were mediocre and undisciplined, and they sure have been...I guarantee there's an assistant out there(especially by the end of this season) VERY deserving of a HC spot.

On the other hand, I agree with some others on here and say give a guy like Gruden a try, or a guy like Cowher...In other words, a guy who knows how to WIN in the NFL and can turn this franchise around. Kroenke has the money, who cares what it takes if it brings us a winner?...Even if he has to pay a guy like that 10 or 15 mil a year, he'll end up making BIG money when we win!!!

I wonder what it would take to lure Harbaugh from Michigan?

You know he'd love beating up Kelly and Carrol twice a year!

We certainly have an owner who could afford whatever the hell it would take to get ANYONE here and still make sense as far as making money in the end...Even if it was 20 mil a year for a coach, which is unheard of, Stan would STILL make money in the end if/when we became a winning team...

I would be all for Cowher if he was even remotely interested. The guy came from an organization that is well run and built up a majority of it's talent and never really made dumb moves. He left that organization to Tomlin in great shape when he left. As for this organization, we've had what, like 6 or 7 coaches compared to their 2 in the same span (and that's with Cowher leaving on his own free will)?
I want nothing to do with Gruden. I think he's very overrated.

Just watched the Wisconsin/Georgia State game and I was impressed with near twin Olineman that the Rams should be watching. At center, Michael Dieter, 6-6, 325lbs and he made Barnes look like a high schooler. Next to him is Beau Benzschawel, 6-6, 324lbs. Not a sack allowed by either and the running holes were immense. Both are sophomores, so maybe in 2018 when we get past this Goff mess, I know of two O-lineman the Rams should think about selecting.

After my Noles got destroyed yesterday, I started to think this was one of those odd weeks we rarely see.

So you know the Rams are gonna show up and look like an actual football team today!!

Good luck to any team trying to stop that Louisville QB btw.

Well, the Noles weekend continued for Winston, what a tough game for him against a different brand of Cardinals lol. But hey, the Rams did show up and extend their winning streak over petulant Pete, which is always welcome.

Lamar Jackson has to be firmly in the Heisman conversation now after passing his toughest test with flying colors. Kid is only a sophomore, so another year after this of dominating the ACC it seems.

So Wentz is 2-0. Is tough, mobile, has a good defense, decent WRs, above average RBs, learns on the job, and manages the game nicely.

Yepper, there were a few of us on here that would have preferred that pick?, actually Goff would have been my 3rd choice?

Wentz is looking good so far. He'll face a test this week as Pissburgh comes to town. I was one of the dudes that wanted Wentz over Goff because of his size and athleticism as well as he was further ahead (taking snaps under a center and more NFL ready than Goff) than Goff. Looks like Philly is batting .1000 right now.

Well I wanted Goff but I'm not paid to make the right decision, Fisher is and so far it looks like he blew it again.
