So, Rams fans.

Does McVay walk away this off-season?

A lot of pundits are pushing that narrative and nobody really knows for sure except McShitferBrains who has promised to get away after the season and look at the matter and come back with a decision by February.

If McShitferBrains does leave, AD will go and probably Stafford and maybe even Kupp.

If and when McShitferBrains leaves and it is this year, the first guy the Rams interview will another Sean and this one will be Payton. I still think the guy they need to go after is Eric Bienenimy as the new Rams HC.

Kupp won’t go anywhere.

AD will leave if McVay does. Don’t think he wants to play for another HC.

Stafford will be back regardless. No way he wants to end his career on IR.

What really sucks for the Rams though, is if those guys retire, the Rams are still stuck with their contracts. I think that is BS, especially since they just resigned those guys to make them “happy”.

For them to leave and leave the Rams in cap hell would be a real d!ck move by all of them.

Shane Steichen (Eagles OC) should be in the mix.

End of the year developments: Morris gets a second interview with the Colts and Kingsberry since being fired by the Cards here in Phoenix may be the new Rams OC. Maybe knucklehead will finally admit his offense sucks with him calling the plays and now hire Kingsberry and delegate him the offense and the play-calling

Ehhhh, not sure I like Kingsberry calling plays. At least McVay doing so resulted in wins (when healthy)...

McVay wanted something from the front office. He must have gotten it. We will never know what it was but Im sure it had something to do with the team not him or more money for himself.

Morris has been removed as a final HC candidate for both the Broncos and Colts jobs. Henderson and Brown have been given the green light to entertain interviews elsewhere. I fear we will lose good coaches like Henderson and Brown and have to keep crappy-ass coaches like Morris and have the better coaches replaced by worse coaches like LaFleur.

Another potential trade that has been rumored and is gaining traction that Morris's soft zone defense is motivating is the trading of Jalen Ramsey to the Lions for a First Round Pick and a fourth or fifth rounder. The prevailing rationale is the soft zone or bend-but-don't-break insanity that Morris is moving to with two Safeties, no longer needs a lock-down corner especially one that is costing the Rams $17 mil.

I think this is another masked ploy to cut payroll and garner draft capital. This is such bullshit in the sense that the coach of this defensive scheme should go along with Ramsey and if that is the prevailing rationale, then what the hell are we picking-up a $62 mill option for an aging, oft-injured QB? Why are we not moving Stafford and going with a Mayfield or Cookus while drafting say a top tear QB for the future like the kid from Stanford say in the First Round?

Because McVay didn’t come back to do a complete rebuild Retro.

I agree, Morris needs to go. Maybe if Staley gets canned, the Rams will try and get him back as DC and get Ramsey back at his natural position.

But, if they are going to keep Morris, best to trade Ramsey for whatever capital you can get because he definitely doesn’t fit the defensive scheme.
