Well ALR, the Rams, especially Snead, are recognizing that a rebuild is going to occur sooner rather than later. When the Snooperbowl core leaves and then McShit-fer-Brains is either fired or he quits, Snead is going to have to go to the draft more than ever he has under McShit-fer-Brains.

So, the Panther trade denial was a good thing. We will have a First Rounder in 2024 and 2025 and Snead will have to use them. He is, however, going to have to get better scouts and technicians to analyze and find good talent in his personnel department otherwise, he'll be shown the door as well.

So true, Retro.

The scouting department needs work, that’s for sure.

Especially when it comes to evaluating OL and secondary.

Ramsey should be the first to go, we had the freaking lead and your playing 10 yard soft coverage aka not what we paid you to do

This is the proverbial kettle calling the pot black. How many interceptions has this guy dropped this year?? Granted, everyone knows that the offense totally sucks. You can glance at the stats and know that much. The question remains, how many interceptions thrown right to ya have you fumbled or dropped where you had a clear pick-six??

The Jets under former DC for the Niners, Robert Saleah is the HC of the Jets and he has assembled one helluva of a defense built on knocking the crap out of people. The cornerstone of this defense is a former Rams DE, John Franklin-Myers who McVay and Wade Phillips at the time let walk for no apparent reason. Now the dude is a stud and he is kickin' the crap out of people. Just another eff-up by genius boy in a long line of eff-ups when it comes to personnel decisions on the Rams.

Yeah, that was a really stupid decision by them, especially since they spent all that time developing him and he was just reaching his potential.

The whole team was playing soft coverage. Sure seems like scheme, not individual choice. I hate that shit so much...it's why teams get rid of the ball so quickly on the Rams. Playing against the Bucs and their lack of burners at WR, no reason to play that far off. You know Brady is more than willing to dink/dunk down the field.

This didn't age well...

McVay mentioned the emergence of Tanzel Smart and Morgan Fox as factors in Franklin-Myers’ release, too. He said last week that the fourth preseason game was Fox’s best of the year, so it’s possible he just barely pushed ahead of Franklin-Myers in that preseason finale.

That "flexible" defensive bullshit scheme is all Morris. Staley never plays nor did he play it when he was DC. And like you stated, shopson, Brady is more than willing to ding and dunk you to death. Shit, the Bucs scored a TD in 44 seconds at the end!!

Yeah, Phillips and Williams did the same thing with playing off the ball. Of course, Staley didn't last long as the never-ending younger coach mining of the Rams continues.

Dumbass McShit-fer-Brains is at it again. HE keeps Taylor Rapp and cuts Terrell Burgess who he basically cast to the curb by not playing him the minute he was drafted after he became healthy and the same goes for Kendall Blanton who was a good player last year yet McShit-fer-Brains just didn't play either of these guys in favor of pieces of dogshit like Jacob Harris and Taylor Rapp!! This stupid shit is not going to stop as long as McShit-fer-Brains is allowed to go unchecked. The moves were done to make room for the return of Shelton and Kyren Williams.

Is Evans still on the roster? You bet. Oh there's changes coming but once again this Dumbass cuts the wrong guys. This is exactly what happened with John Franklin-Myers and now look what he is doing in New York. Now they are thinking of signing Abrams at Safety who was cut by the Raiders. What the hell for when you have Burgess if you'd just play him!! Man this idiot is out of control!!

And yet, pieces of garbage like Allen and Evans are not only still on the team, but starters.

The insanity of McVay continues to astound.

Apparently the Rams are hoping Burgess and Blanton clear waivers so they can be brought back to the practice squad but that makes no sense. When you need a blocking TE and a hard-hitting Safety, why would you sit Blanton or Burgess?

At this point Retro, nothing McVay does makes any sense whatsoever.

Did him getting married mess up his brain or something? I’m assuming he was already getting some prior to the wedding, so that can’t be it.

I was inclined to blame his paradoxical craziness on his matrimonial bliss. Dude hasn't been coherent since he got married!!

Granted the Rams are screwing everything-up that comes their way and why should keeping and signing OBJ be any different. DaSilva doesn't include one small detail in his article: That being, Beckham has not been medically cleared to play. He is still healing the knee. But the rest of the details are fairly close to reality.
