I believe it was week 4, or the last week b4 he was shut down and made "inactive". The commentary was slowing the running replays down and it clearly showed some cut back lanes, but Aikers decided not to take it and stutter behind G only to lose yds. It's plays like that where i'm wondering where the vision has gone. He's not the same guy it seems; to his defense though it also doesn't help when your dumb fuck coach keeps calling predictable plays.

It also doesn’t help when those plays are called there are no holes 8 out of 10 times. Makes you think about another way to go to make something happen

Holy crap SJ

Your opinion is the only one that's right in your mind. Everyone else is wrong but you, huh?

You can say Sewell and Hutchinson were not difficult picks, but how many times have teams botched top 10 picks in the draft ( Rams included which is why I mentioned Robinson and Smith ). I didn't say they were in the McVay era. Doesn't have to be. Just showing teams make the wrong choices especially in the top 10. Just have to look at draft history to see that.

I already mentioned 2 guys that weren't lotto picks- St. Brown and Rodriquez just to name 2. They also drafted a solid DL or 2. But their weakness is by far in their secondary which is why the defense ranks so low.

I'm not the only one who thinks the scouting department has been worse without Holmes and needs to be revamped. And just because you dismiss those articles as being written by hacks doesn't mean there isn't truth behind them.

But you do you.

The Lions have one of the worst defenses in the league my man. That’s not my opinion. Holmes had waaaay more picks than us and one less super bowl. Go to the Lions board LOL

Yes many of the articles are koolaid drinkers like yourself.

So again… keep crying and bitching like you do

@broncosmitty tell about your GM and your defense. Oh and Goff hahaha. Some of these turkeys here want Holmes back, Goff back and those picks back. But they’d be bitching about them if it were so

If trade Holmes back for a 7th rounder.

Asshole got you guys a SB and is working on getting Minny one.

We have less depth on defense than I can ever remember. And I’ve been a Lion fan my whole life. It is not NFL caliber. Horrible linebackers last year and all he adds is a late munchkin. He traded up for a guy who hasn’t practiced yet.

I’m not mad at Goff. He isn’t quite as dumb as Staff. Just has less arm talent. I’m okay with that. But I would’ve like to see him dealt at the deadline instead of our 24 year old TE.

If Campbell and Holmes make it all way thru their third season I’ll be shocked.

The Rams are reverting to an old formula that served them well in the past. But the question remains will McShit-fer-Brains use any of his players they get. McShit-fer-Brains has yet to play McCutcheon, who last week was inactive. Clearly a good prospect, McCutcheon has not seen one down of Game day football. This is one glaring example of yet another failure in McShit-fer-Brains' approach to his roster and playing time for good players that the Shit-fer-Brains Twins find.

The problem is, Stafford only seems to have eyes for Kupp and occasionally Higbie. Does he have time to get to his third read (McCutcheon, Jefferson, Robinson, whomever)?

I love me some Schmitty

What about Goff vs Staff in the pocket? Goff used to drive me nuts

Goff seems awful when he has to move.

But out routes aren’t a 50/50 pick six. Like with Haley Joel Osment.

Goff’s lack of arm strength almost seems like it helps in pressure situations. He knows he can’t make some plays. Fumbles all the time though.

Yeah I guess that Oline in Detroit is better too so his pocket is probably almost perfect. He needs it

This article touches the basics about the poor run blocking by the O-line and the failure of the RBs to not make their positive yards after the initial blocking patterns develop which all three are guilty of this year alone.

BTW, Gurley-Mon was away better at this than the three we now have. Rivers is a bit better but not significantly better. The guy the Rams could really use is a C.J. Anderson-type back. Anderson had a knack for finding the slightest holes and daylight thereafter for big gains even though he was 5'8 and weighed 230lbs. All of the RBs we have now are clueless. This is what makes McCaffery so dangerous. McCaffery fights for positive yards every time he touches the football.

At any rate, the article suggests that McVay needs to change but doesn't address McShit-fer-Brains' tendency to discard something that does work in the Running game like the Jumbo or the I-formation with Skowronek as FB. He uses something a little bit and then rushes right back to the Pass, Pass, Pass, Pass, mentality. McShit-fer-Brains play-calling is suspect and he refuses to turn the game over to his OC, Coen.

Until all of those changes happen, the problems we have on offense are not going to get better or be permanently resolved.

Been a lot of missed games on the line. But when healthy it’s got to be one of the best in the league.

He’s never running for his life too much.

Looks like McShit-fer-Brains and Akers had a group hug and a Kumbaya moment. Now everything is better! LOL! Once Akers starting missing those game checks, it is amazing how one's attitude changed.

Frikin' Dicker is back in LA. The Chargers signed him to their PS. Now we can get rid of Dixon and poach him from the Chargers PS if need be.

This two paragraphs in that article are stunning. Other lesser backs were traded last week. That is what the rest of the league thinks of Akers.

"It’s not that there wasn’t trade interest in running backs before the deadline. Christian McCaffrey, Chase Edmonds, Jeff Wilson, Nyheim Hines and Zack Moss were all traded in the last few weeks, as was James Robinson."

"That makes it all the more surprising that Akers wasn’t dealt, even despite the struggles on the field that he’s experienced in Year 3. Sean McVay left the door open for him to play for the Rams again but Akers doesn’t seem interested in that path. He wants out."

This guy we knew about because the Rams played against him twice a year for five straight years. When he was released, the Shit-fer-Brains Twins didn't even bother to go after him. Another piece of evidence that the Rams personnel department is a pile of dogshit.

That is because in McVay’s mind, no one is better than Allen.

That is why he keeps playing him.
