Easy to say “F them picks” when you keep finding starters in the 6th round.
Someone showed up late to the partyThat’s been the game plan the last 3 years.
Stafford has developed sore elbows especially in his throwing arm. McShit-fer-Brains better develop a decent running game this year because he is going to need it. Back-up QB is another point of focus because Stafford maybe reaping the consequences of 13 years on a bad team getting the crap kicked-out of him. He is already 34 so this maybe a telling year on a number of levels.
Did we forget the Super Bowl? We ran the ball 23 times, even though it wasn't effective and producing yards it was effective at keeping the defense honestI agree shopson. If Stafford spends time on IR this year, we are going to have depend on a running game that is fairly weak and inconsistent. Pass-happy boy just can't get it through his thick head that the running game is essential to winning especially during a repeat attempt year.
Perkins is a developmental type guyWolford, Perkins, and Perez are all very underwhelming should they need to step in for a full game or more. Much the case behind any vet QB though. Rams would do well to target a developmental guy at some point, not necessarily a prospect but someone projected to be a backup (if not just getting a proven vet backup outright). Not much available in FA at this point (Cam, McCarron, Glennon, Gilbert.....meh).
Perkins played the majority of pre-season last year, and he just never looked comfortable out there.Perkins is a developmental type guy
That is why Perkins is on practice squad and Wolford is the backup, we will see if Perkins has grown any this preseason.Perkins played the majority of pre-season last year, and he just never looked comfortable out there.
Too many mistakes, and tends to run instead of waiting for receivers to clear and get open.
He just hasn’t developed into a solid backup.
Wolford has shown more in actual games.

He had a lot of trust issues when I watched him in college at UVA since we didn't have much of a line or running game, so he always felt like he had to carry the load for the offense. Wondering if the same issues are popping up now as well.Perkins played the majority of pre-season last year, and he just never looked comfortable out there.

He had from last year. They can't pinpoint the issue to give him the proper care. How has he developed a sore elbow? I don't understand... Did he get hit in training camp? Will he not start week 1 against the Bills?
