LB Kenny Young played for you guys 2 seasons ago. What's the book on him, guys?

He backing up our projected WLB who is a 2nd year guy who didn't play much last season. Wondering if he'd be our best option to start. We got Perryman at MLB and Jayon Brown at SLB.

Dude. Kenny Young is a good back-up LB. He plays bigger than his size and he is somewhat smallish as NFL LBs go but he is speedy and can cover in the secondary. He hasn't played very well since he left the Rams in a surprise trade with the Broncos that brought a 2024 6th and 7th Round picks to the Rams. So he is a solid player. He whiffs on tackles sometimes but he plays hard when he is in there.

Listed as our backup but may end up start. The starter is a 2nd year guy.

With our DL....IF HE can be average as a starter we might be ok.

Like I already stated, dude, Young has not played well since he left the Rams but he may come around under Josh McDaniels, the new Raiders HC.

Atwell has put on some size and he is a bit bigger but compared to most of the players on the field, he is still a small player and is an injury waiting to happen. Good Luck.

Once again, the reason McShit-fer-Brains is pushing so hard to sell Atwell to nearly everyone is he is the guy that pressed Snead to take Atwell in the Second Round of the draft two years ago when the Rams needed a Center and they whiffed on so many good Centers in that draft to take a smallish, non-durable speedy WR that has yet to make it through an entire season. It will look awfully bad if genius boy has this situation just fall completely apart because he will then have to come to the realization that he effed-up big time. What's he going to say then!

Yep, I agree Retro

At best, Atwell is a 50 target a year player, and they took him over a stud center playing every snap.

You don’t take gadget players with early picks.

Why are McSnead so averse to drafting a stud center? All they do is use patchwork guys and hope it works. Some seasons it does ( like last year ), others are terrible.

Plus, they had to pay big money to keep Allen when they could’ve saved those precious cap dollars had they drafted Creed and had him on his rookie contract.

The whole affair remains a cluster eff-job and I am pretty sure they know they screwed-up. They did it again this year by passing on Dylan Parham who played three positions (including Center) on the O-line in the Raiders Thursday Night game against the Jags and did not allow one pressure ALL NIGHT. They whiffed on Parham and took Bruss who is going to be a back-up to Coleman Shelton who is taking Corbett's spot on the O-line! For every steal, McSnead have had some colossal screw-ups like the Atwell/Creed mess.

As amazing it is that the Rams manage to find these late round gems, it’s a paradox why they fail so badly at the early round picks using the same scouting department.

McShit-Fer-Brains is setting himself-up to end-up in a corner, painted by himself, by now categorizing Atwell as the third receiver and refusing to play him in preseason game when he has already stated he wants Atwell to get some preseason reps. In light of McCutcheon's performance in the preseason and his continual impressing of players and coaches alike, Shit-Fer-Brains is going to stick with fragile Atwell. When Atwell gets injured, then McShit-Fer-Brains will have to scramble to find a replacement. So this means somebody else will get cut that the Rams really don't want and should not have to cut just because McShit-Fer-Brains can't admit he made a mistake and cut ties with this cluster eff-job sooner rather than later.

This is why small RBs and even smaller WRs are not a good idea. The Rams have to very capable big backs on their roster right now and already peeps in the know are saying they will be cut in favor of a host oof small oft-injured running backs, Ackers, Henderson, and the new rook, Williams. How stupid!!!

All three of the previously mentioned RBs are not going to make it through another season if they have nagging injuries already. Go with the big backs like A.J. Rose, T. Ragas, and even Funk is a bit bigger this year. Akers, Henderson, Williams, and Calais are just too small to withstand a full NFL season and in a Snooperbowl year where the down-time is way shorter.

i prefer RBs to be 220+, rams need to cut the crap drafting this anorexic rbs. No RB should be barely 200 running between tackles, it's just stupid.

What pisses me-off more than anything is McShit-Fer-Brains continues to favor these small-runt RBs who continually have medical and physical problems even before the season starts. The RB position in the NFL is inherently a position of high risk and one where the player takes an extra amount of a physical beating. The average lifespan of an NFL RB is 3.7 years. Yet McShit-Fer-Brains continues to favor them even when he has two very good big backs like A.J. Rose and T. Ragas on his roster.

All those RBs listed in Jermaine's post were very big backs with the same skill set as the present Rams' Micro-Running backs. The one thing they all had (except for Gurleymon) in common was McShit-Fer-Brains was not their head coach.

At this point it is obvious to everyone else that McShit-Fer-Brains is the originator of his own problems and it looks as though it ain't going to change anytime soon. Buckle-up because I think the Rams are in for a rough year in the medical/physicality department.
