Yep. Holmes is gonso to Detroit as their GM. DC from the whiners, Robert Saleh gets hired by the Jets. Urban Meyer goes to the Jags. That leaves the Eagles and the Chargers. Staley is looking more and more like he is staying with the Rams.
And Houston as well.

Think about the amount of coaches Mcvay has lost and now losing a “GM”... but they keep replacing them and find good fits too. System is the system. Rams Culture is good

Well, SJ76. There is an opening with the Rams for a dude who knows college football. I know a dude who knows a lot about college football talent. Are you going to be the next director to replace Holmes?

I’m not on top of it as I once was. Could figure it out I’m sure but I’m guessing they can keep finding good people.

Yea other more important things like kids and a wife and you'd have to move from Texass to LA or fly back and forth in that private jet of yours. That would be a beaatch all around.

One thing that bothers me is all this talk about trading for Watson when we have a number of FAs we can't afford already like John Johnson, Ebukam, and Josh Reynolds. Maybe the Rams want to move on from Goff that badly that they are willing to trade for this guy who ultimately we can't afford when we already have a boatload of damn good receivers. This also precludes getting a couple of top tier O-lineman as well and this is the point that has been already made by ALR or LTRF.

Yea UVA. The Iggles and the Texans are left but the Iggles also want to interview Bienemy and I seriously doubt Staley will want to take on that mess in Texas.

That’s why I’m thinking Houston will want to appease Watson and take Bieniemy since he’s a POC and would be an offensive minded coach. As for what Detroit and Philly do, I have no clue.

Ebukam can be replaced and so can Reynolds, Van Jefferson is a cheaper version.

Floyd will be gone, Williams may be poached due to salary cap, Brown will probably be gone, Everett will be gone, Reynolds will be gone but Jefferson will take his place.

they need LB’s and OL, and WR that can take the top off a defense.

We 100% need a speed burner at WR like we had with Cooks(when he was healthy). Changes everything with how a D has to play you

I believe that he was prone to injuries and the front office didn’t want to give someone with that type of history a lot of money.

If Floyd, Ebukam, Brown, and some others like A-Rob are not going to be re-signed, then the FO should, and I hope they will, focus on extending John Johnson. We shall see.

Watson for Goff and draft picks is just not going to happen because we can't afford him and why would we do that when Goff may need a break and we have Wolford and Perkins who I believe are going to make some noise before this saga is over.

Staley has three interviews in the next two days: Chargers, Texans, and Iggles in that order. Staley goes for his second interview with the Chargers face-to-face this time. The Chargers , however are on hold because they really want Brian Daboll, the Bills DC and they won't be able to interview him until the Bills are done. The Iggles have a number of peeps they want to see. Included is Jerod Mayo from the Patriots and Eric Bienemy from the Chiefs. That leaves the Texans which are such a mess that Staley will walk before the Texans do. Nobody wants that mess.

I don't see any of these teams really settling on Staley with just one year experience. Thus, I think our odds are pretty good that we keep Staley. I wish McVay and Snead would get off their collective asses and offer an extension ASAP to keep him but like genius/dumbass boy often does, he concedes and lets things go. Aggravating I tell you.

I think Staley is gone Retro.

I don’t see all 3 teams passing on him, and as bad as the Texans situation is, it’s still a HC job which every coach hopes for. Don’t see him passing on it if they offer.

As for Johnson, he will take up too much of the little cap space they have, and they drafted with that in mind with Fuller and Burgess, plus they have Rapp.

i would be ok if the rams were to let ebukam, floyd, brown all walk. Floyd's production is a by product of AD. Maybe he doesn't command much on the open market??? JJ I'd try and keep.. depending on how much he commands

Of the four teams left, if I had my choice, I’d probably feel like the Chargers were the best team to go to of the four. Detroit would be the last of the four just because that team always seems like it’s a mess. At least with Philly, they’re in a division where you could turn the team around pretty quickly. Houston, you at least have a good quarterback that you’ll have to appease and a year without a draft pick in the first two rounds. Surprised Detroit hasn’t been mentioned as wanting Staley since their new GM was here and saw what he did. I feel like them and Philly would be the front runners for Staley. But if we have another good defensive season next season, he’ll definitely be out the door if he’s still here.

I could see it going either way. I figure the Chargers and Texans will go more with an offensive minded coach. No idea about Detroit. Philly might go offensive as well so they can try to salvage Wentz or try to see if they can help with Hurts.
