Yep, LTRF. Zuerlein followed Fassel to the Caboys who just signed their kicker to an extension.

Expect the Rams to take a kicker in the draft of maybe they'll bring back Friken Ficken if he is not under contract.

Yea BattleLyon a pattern is emerging here and the Rams will probably re-sign Christian at a lower contract salary.

Weird they give Brockers that dough. Maybe that saves face after losing him and TG30

Now we focus the draft on LBs and Oline I suppose

Do we sign the bowling ball CJ?

If I was running the show in LA, I'd hire ED as an assistant GM. ED insists he is the guy that got the Rams Marshall Faulk for a 7th round pick. If John Lynch (ex-player) is the mastermind behind the 49ers turnaround (and he is), than ED would be my GM sooner rather than later.

First thing I would tell ED to do is trade Goff and Cooks getting as many draft picks as possible and then sign Jameis Winston ASAP.

The next thing I would do is fire Kevin Demoff and that stupid design department that came up with that pile o' dog shit logo.

Then I would instruct ED to focus in on both lines and LB in the draft. Get me a bigass smashmouth line on both sides of the ball and some LBs who want to knock the crap out of people. Enough of this corporate pussy football.

Rams got Faulk for a 2nd and a 5th, not a 7th rounder.

Only the Rams give away players for next to nothing. Other teams are smarter ( except maybe the Texans )

I will wait to see the parameters of the Brockers signing before blasting it.

So the Rams are going with younger players. Maybe because they are more coach able and faster. We will see if this works. It feels funny not knowing or having a clue on how good or bad the Rams will be heading towards a new season. But its also a little exciting.

Yea, it was a 2nd and a fifth and ED was indeed the instigator of the trade through his well-known interactions (many of which were contentious and adversarial) with John Shaw when ED left the Colts and finished up with the Raiders.

There seems to be a low-grade consistent stream of incompetence going on here from the Rams FO and my worst fears were confirmed on Ramswire where a recent article stated that Kevin Demoff is already driving the actions of the Rams to sign the next big contracts to the next class of FAs that includes Cooper Kupp, John Johnson, Jalen Ramsey, and Samson Ebukam. The first thing that Demoff was quoted in saying is the Rams can't keep everyone. Sound familiar?

This sorry sack of shit, who is a protege of John Shaw and is a holdover from the Queen Idiot's control of the franchise is just plain effing things up as a routine practice. He is the guy I believe who is awarding big and early contracts and extensions to players without thinking anything through which sets up the Rams for continual cap hell.

How do the Rams go from having about 5 mil in cap space to now being able to afford Brockers and why was this contract not done before Brockers walked? The Rams did the same disappearing act with Saffold, Brockers, Fowler, Sullivan, Littleton, Zuerlein, R-C, and Christian and to some extent Gurley and the derivation of this incompetence and just shit practices is 10-to-1 coming from that sack of shit Demoff.

Look what he did with the logo for crying out loud. Two years and that pile of dog shit is what he comes up with? I am pretty sure he's the guy that signed Goff too quickly yet made AD wait 2 years before both got basically the same large contract.

This guy is a walking cluster eff job and should be fired ASAP.

How in the world can the Rams afford Brockers, yet couldn’t manage to keep R-C ( who signed for a whopping $1M )?

They were paying NRC 4 and half times that, besides new DC, means new style of defense which means having the players to fit the scheme.

Once again, the Rams outbid themselves.

Brockers deal with Baltimore was for 3 yrs/ 21M guaranteed, with a max of 30M.

His deal with the Rams is for 3 yrs/24M with a max of 31.5M

Why pay him more than what he agreed to sign with Baltimore for? Why even pay him the same?

Offer less because of the medical flag from another team ( even if your medical staff has a better gauge on the injury ).

Plain stupidity by the Rams FO yet again.

Yep ALR. And it turns out from the Ramswire and the Bleacher Report, after cutting Matthews and R-C's option, the Rams had enough money to re-sign Fowler and Littleton for the same money those two players signed for elsewhere. This is once again the handiwork of one Kevin Demoff in conjunction with opinions of Staley the new DC.

Re-signing Brockers for 3 more mill than the Ravens were going to give him is all the bullshit work of that idiot Demoff. This guy has got to go but it is not going to happen because the limp biscuit likes him.

Staley's new D approach is to utilize bigger run-stuffing D-Lineman to gather up blockers to release the true pass rushers like AD and now Brockers to go for sacks.

Staley also likes bigger LBs to defense the run allowing the secondary to do the bulk of the work in the passing game. Why he did not consider the versatile skills of Littleton is beyond me. Littleton was our best LB in the run and the pass.

In theory, this D will be similar to Fazio's D in Chicago. We shall see about this.

Actually, Brockers only getting 7.5 guaranteed for basically a 1 year deal compared to 21 guaranteed from the Ravens

Smart move by the Rams

So now I hear that because of the Brockers signing, we will not sign either Floyd or Robinson and because the league is in limbo, we can hang on to all 3 even though we will have to drop one(which obviously will not be Brockers)...

Kind of a sleazy move if true. :lame:

Floyd is the odd man out because we are expected to select an Edge in the draft. It could go either way though because the Rams have had face-to-face meetings with the DT from Michigan.
