Gregg Williams joins Browns as team's new DC

The article notes that "after head coach Jeff Fisher was let go during the season, Rams assistants were free to seek other employment in the offseason while the team searched for Fisher's replacement." So it's sounds like a whole new staff coming in with the new coach. Probably a good thing. So, let's get on with replacing Demoff and Sneed!

Yeah, I'm a bit afraid of the same. Which means this new coach will only be a short term rental unless they start winning IMMEDIATELY!!!...

At least from what I've been reading, it looks like we won't have to worry about McDaniels as he seems to want the 49ers job and Vance Joseph is the leading candidate for Denver. That opens us up still for a guy like Shanahan or another offensive minded guy that'd be able to get able to get the best out of Goff and the rest of the offense, unlike Boras who was probably the worst offensive coordinator I can ever recall witnessing.

I'm good with Shanahan! I just hope if he is the choice, that he surrounds himself with football genius's!

Whomever it ends up being, he needs to be a leader. No mushy crap like Fisher, need someone who can actually inspire guys. Obviously, need more emphasis on the offense, whether that comes from a former OC or just a great OC hire.

Williams D wasn't the problem at all and they had the worse offense in the league.

How in the Hell is that going to work when we really only have one legitimate LB? Ya lets draft a couple LB's , since we have our offense fixed now ?

To be fair, we need to draft/sign another LB anyway for any incoming DC. Nobody else wants to go with 2 LBs (one a recently converted safety).

With the Broncos, the pass rushers rarely dropped into coverage, so it was basically a modified 4-3.

Drafting a LB, and hitting on a good one are 2 different things, if our Oline drafts are any indication we are in deep Doo Doo

I am watching the Atlanta-Seattle game and one Matthews at LT. The dude is a stud and has allowed no sacks on Ryan today. And to think we passed on this guy for whom? Flippin Fisher still pisses me off when I think about it.

Could've traded out of the #2, picked up extra draft choices and STILL got the better player(and the guy most of us wanted)but NO, we HAD to take the project
