See second bullet point in the below message I quoted someone on stating why Diggs' play was NOT pass interference and what would be. And then read what I actually wrote. Diggs was not running or restricting from the BACK of an opponent, he was making a play as Fitzgerald ran right into him. The conditions for both plays were 100% different.

I'll expect your well thought out apology within the hour.

I apologize for you having a bad optometrist. That's not what I or others saw?

Uh, what'd you see then? This was the PI against the Rams where the defender came in from behind, right? Not the one where Evans if anything pushed off and Ramsey was flagged.

Or are you talking about the Diggs play? I flat out quoted the rulebook and Diggs was 100% making a play on the ball (he dropped an easy INT). I know some of you like to make up rules (like the Packers player had an INT without both feet on the ground because he 'caught it'.... with... both feet not on the ground lol) so I dunno what to tell ya at this point.

So why wouldnt it be a loss of down for throwing it twice. Seems like an advantage to throw it twice if you know you are getting your down back?

yeah & if he would have gotten a 1st down with it. they except the penalty & he gets his down back.
I think that penalty should go the way of intentional grounding. Loss of down & the penalty.
