This is it, nothing else to play for for the Raiders, while the 9ers are in the fight of their lives to make the playoffs, that is a tough scenario for our boys, if Sparano wants to keep his job this would be the time to prove it, after a total washout last Sunday.
I only hope we tanked last week to save something for this game, as my good friend idaho stated, this is the Bay Area SB, bragging rights to my hometown, yes, I have lived, happily I might add, in FL for 20 years, but I was born and came of age in Cali, 20 prime years of my life spent in Sac and the Bay.
Yes, this has been a very tough and forgettable season, but, aside from London, this is the one win that would really matter, against our hated cross bay rival, I am old enough to remember when the Raiders were the tough guy in the 'hood and we made fun of the hapless 9ers.
Being realistic, the only way I see the Raiders pulling this one out would be to slow the game down, take time off the clock with a solid running attack balanced with some decent passing yards, stay close and hope to be around at the 4th, win it with a SeaBass FG as time expires. Put Mack as spy on Kaep. Sio on Davis, Woods on Crabs, and everyone on Gore.
