A man I mold myself after.

To create change in the world you must use a sledge hammer to the walls and barriers that are in your way.

Show others the way and then change will come

RIP Legend

Very sad news. Maybe the best running back of all-time. I put him up there with Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith, and OJ Simpson.

One of the best men ever. Hell of a runningback too
He was no saint.

Don't make him out to be one by saying one of the best men ever.

"While he had a soft spot for those in need, and his generosity changed lives, he also was arrested a half-dozen times, mostly on charges of hitting women. In June 1999, Brown's wife, Monique, called 911, saying Brown had smashed her car with a shovel and threatened to kill her. During the trial, Monique Brown recanted."

Great actor too!

He killed it in "Slaughter" and did it again in "Slaughter's Big Rip Off". But who could forget his memorable performance of weaving through enemy fire as he dropped grenades down the air shafts in "Dirty Dozen"?

I would put him at top for RB position.

Great RB who had a pretty good life. Ironic that lacrosse was his favorite sport but he knew the NFL was the only real career path for him. Probably one reason he left the game early is that as great as he was, he wasn't truly passionate about it down deep. Nobody is perfect but he did leave an impressive legacy in many ways.

Brown learned well, saw a path and became ledgendary. He took advantage of his gifts and created opportunities when most blacks could not during those times.

Won 8 rushing titles in his 9 seasons. Nobody else has more than 4.

He also ran for at least 1,200 yards 7x. His other two seasons he ran for 942 & 996. And only rb to finish his career averaging more than 100 yards.

Lost two legendary #32's in the past year...

Jim was a complicated man with a complicated legacy who did a lot of great things & a lot of bad things. His legacy is forever clouded, but you can never take away what he accomplished on the field.

RIP 32.
