While I would never wish injury on a player.. part of me was hoping Kirks wife would have gone into Labor at 11:30 on a Sunday morning, week 3. Just so that we could have started Colt McCoy so that Dan, Bruce, Dean and all the world could have actually seen that while Cousins isnt flashy like Newton, wasnt a First rounder like Wentz, and didnt marry a Super Model like Brady or Wilson....

Cousins is a difference maker.

....because unless and until we're settled at QB, and we're not, that question will always be the top concern. I get building the team to a championship level, that's being done, but pretending that the QB position is settled in order to "focus" on other areas is ridiculous.

Disagree to this extent, he is a difference maker ON THIS TEAM because of the pure lack of competency over the last few years at the position. In an actual game, not so much.

Oh how quickly we forget the trades up for Campbell, the over drafting and not supporting of Ramsey, the trade for McNabb, the signing of a washed up Jeff George, and MArk Brunell.

This team has been chasing the dragon since Joey T broke his leg and retired.

Nope, not saying that sideways or any other way. Kirk is a pretty good QB, he will be a pretty good QB in SF, Arizona, Cleveland or anywhere else that has a need to resolve the incompetence at the position. Again, I'll say flatly he's a pretty good QB.

Better yet, let me put it this way....working on a scale of A through F, where "F" is the starting place Kirk moves the team that he's on from the "F" position to something respectable, whatever that is for that particular team. That would be pretty good considering the "F" position from which that team was before him.

The goal however is winning, one or many SB's. This can be done with Kirk, however the team around him is what's going to get you there!! He is in effect a Facilitator and not the impetus on which that can be done.

Sorry about the dumbing down type of example, it not aimed at you or anyone in particular it's just that I've now have learned to be a bit more suspect about posting anything for nit pickers.

Then why did you mention KC at all? Because it sure appears that your post was a subterfuge dig at KC........especially your comment about "needing a supporting cast". If your point was about our FO and landing a QB like Wentz, then it was probably best to just leave KC out of it all together. Oh, and I would have agreed with your post if that was how it was written.

Sty, we all know you have never been sold on KC. Its no secret. Your praise of him is always couched with a qualifier. I have never seen (doesn't mean it hasn't happened) you post a positive message on KC with out some sort of slight dig also. SO when you post something like this, most of us read into it what you typically post on KC. I.E.....good, but not good enough.

No one really knows what my "feelings" are toward Kirk, this isn't a chick site where "feelings" are paramount to the conversation. To be honest, I have no "feelings" towards Kirk at all. What I do is evaluation, you can like it or not like it, that's your choice, but take your fucking "feelings" and go cry on a pillow somewhere!
