Some of you guys visit the cooler a lot more than I do so maybe you can answer this for me

What's the deal with this trend where after EVERY news story or anything like that, someone makes a thread pretending to be the subject of that story.

I don't think it's funny at all. It's unoriginal and boring and just plain stupid

I remember when this forum first started and I did it in response to the guy from Kansas who had someone break into his home. At the time I literally had never seen anyone do it, and a lot of people got a kick out of it.

After that I swear it took off like wild fire. Now it's just out of hand.

Not saying I started it cuz that would just be ridiculous......just pointing back to when it was not so common.
