Series Thread: Qualifying Round - Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Columbus Blue Jackets

I guess I just see it as I’d rather have a better blue line than a stronger third line. When we have the top six we do I’m just not all that worried about how the third line plays out warranted that the blue line was better than it is.

No right answer here regardless, we are where we are.

Leading up to the trade deadline in my sim league I'd have similarly rather added a bat to my middle of the road offense than two more solid arms to my #1 in the league pitching staff. But it just wasn't out there at the right price and I still needed to try improving in some way.

I mean, I guess the elephant in the room here that neither of us is mentioning is that one of the factors that created this roster puzzle was deciding that almost $11 mil was the right amount for a certain winger who doesn't score that much

I’m never gonna understand taking Willy to the edge over the difference between $6.5 mil and $7 mil while caving from $8 mil to $11 mil to Mitch while his daddy made everything embarrassingly public.
