IM hoping the kid shows out and gives Dallas reason to draft him at #4. I would much rather see them set heart on drafting the apparent future behind Romo to sit on the bench, than see them improve defense or offense for coming season. The only thing I would find more entertaining would be Dallas trading for Johnny Fuck Nutz.

If Jerry was smart he should draft a QB. I just hope Goff is not there when Dallas picks.

You miss my point... my hope is that Dallas burns a top five pick on a player they hope wont take a snap. I dont see a franchise QB in this draft. Least wise, not one who could step in this year and save a franchise should the great and mighty Tony Romo fall to injury. Be it Goff, Wentz, or fucking Zeus himself, I think Dallas drafting a QB at #4, only serves to benefit the rest of the NFL.

Shark, If Dallas had a decent backup QB last year they would have contended for the division. Jerry thinks Romo is going to last forever. Goff can be a franchise QB. Wentz can be the next Joe Flacco. Dallas should grab one of these guys at #4.

Goff, Wentz, and every other QB in this draft considered a first round pick, all need time and teaching in order to become a franchise QB. If they throw any of these guys in next year, the reality is, they stand to become more Derrick Carr than Tom Brady. Im fine with Dallas burning a top five pick on one of these guys that needs a few years to get there over a player that could actually start and help them now.

I think Zeus would really shock, Shark. I hope the Boys don't draft him.

I think you mean Ashawn Robinson.... And dear bob i hope you are wrong and they dont do that. As I said, i would be perfectly content seeing Dallas burn a top five pick on a guy who will either ride the pine, or not be ready to help the team. Robinson would come in and start and give us fits for the next few years....

NO thanks.

If the Eagles don't re-sign Bradford, they may take Wentz or another QB at #13. If they do re-sign Bradford, he'd get around $17-$20M and that would kill their cap this year. That would also mean they couldn't draft an o-lineman until the third round since they don't have a second rounder this year.

If they don't re-sign Bradford and don't draft a QB, they'll be screwed since they'll be going with Butt Fumble or someone like Chase Daniel. Under this scenario, the Eagles would be looking to rebuild and would be odds-on-favorite to finish last in the division this year.

With all the buzz, I dont think Wentz lasts that far in the draft. I could see Dallas trading down to say #8 and taking him there if they dont panic and just take him 4th over all.

The buzz I hear is that he's got all the physical tools, but there's a huge issue with the competition he faced and type of offense NDSU ran. As to the latter, NDSU was a run-heavy team and opposing defenses had to counter by stacking the box and playing single coverage on their WRs. As a result, Wentz never faced more complex coverages and he was throwing to WRs that were, at times, wide open.

Complex defenses and throwing to WRs where a foot means you are open is something ALL college QBs have to learn. It is something scouts cannot forecast with anyone coming to the next level.
