Puig, 25, stormed off after arriving at Dodger Stadium and being informed that he would either be traded or sent to the minors, according to major-league sources.
There is no denying that he would do well to enjoy a healthy serving of humble pie.
I doubt the Dodgers would go for it. They'd want to get something back. If the choices are 1) Gone for nothing or 2) Send in minors and try to fix, then I would expect them to pick option 2.I wonder if he will be moved for nothing during the waiver trade deadline? I am sure a team would take a flyer on him if the Dodgers just wanted to rid themselves of a problem.
I haven't been keeping up with his antics this season... is he being extra shitty, attitude-wise or is it that his performance is necessitating a much shorter leash?I doubt the Dodgers would go for it. The Dodgers don't give a shit about salary relief.
The latter. He's not making headlines for being a dickhead anymore, but of course that just might mean that everyone is keeping their lips tighter about it. His defense is fine, his bat isn't. For all I know, let's assume he's still an asshole and his performance isn't making up for it.I haven't been keeping up with his antics this season... is he being extra shitty, attitude-wise or is it that his performance is necessitating a much shorter leash?
This guy went from the next big thing to a complete shitshow in record time.
