Just heard on NHL Network that he'll be ok out around 10-14 days and will come back with a shield. A lot of swelling around his eye....thank goodness it wasn't worse everyone should be wearing a shield!!!

Ya Grabovski was swinging at the puck and hit Pronger in the side of the eye. He went off yelling thought it was real bad but thank goodness he's ok. Fucking guy can't catch a break lately.

It's an eye injury, I suggest no one get their hopes up yet as there can be a ton of complications surrounding these types of injury. When he does come back he needs to be mandated to wear a shield, in fact they should just wrap him in bubble tape to prevent anything else going wrong on him.

Ya, looks like he's going to be ok. But hes under close observation for the next 4 days or so.

I have no idea why you wouldn't wear a visor. Theres a fine line between tough and full on retarded

if chris pronger of all people is yelling in pain you know its a bad injury. feel bad for the guy, he cant catch a break. i never understood why any player would choose to go without a visor. a little bit of plastic in front of your face can save your career potentially. look at a guy like lappy. if he wore a visor he'd still be playing for us tonight. =(

That was an absolutely sickening moment...shades of Bernie Parent's injury. So glad to hear that the prognosis is as good as it is.

I used to say the same thing about Brad Marsh and Tod Langway when they refused to wear helmets on the ice. They did not want to mess up their hair I guess. Lol

I bet down the road everyone will have to wear a visor...just like helmets.
