Is anyone else impressed with Samuel Morin as a partner for Coburn? Sure he has made some rookies mistakes, but he really looks like and NHL player to me.

I 100% think Morin looks like an NHL player. I know that the smart play is to let Ghost and Morin play half a season to a full season in the AHL to get some seasoning, but I honestly wouldn't be against either of them on the opening night roster. I think Morin is going to be a stud. His hulking presence reminds me of a Pronger/Chara and I love it. And he plays mean. Maybe he can develop an offensive game as his career progressed sort of like Chara did???

As well as Morin is developing, don't you guys think the Flyer blue line is pretty much set at this point with Streit, Coburn, MacDonald, Del Zotto, Schenn & Grossmann?

I'm sorry I just don't like del zotto out there, I'd rather have ghost out there at this point, he seems just as skilled, if not more so offensively. THat first goal was all on del zotto, I saw enough of those kinds of giveaway's and lack of hussle watching ranger games here in mid-NJ.

Morin 100% should go back to junior. Don't risk his development.

Wish this game was a bit more dominant considering it was basically our starting lineup. 1st line was pretty creative.

I just don't get how he had 41 points in 2012. When I look at Del Zotto play, all he does is miss wide on open shots & turnover the puck at the blue line. Really hard to imagine he put up great numbers that year.

I wish we had looked much better last night as a whole but some pieces looked good and I thought Luke Schenn looked very good last night.
