i agree with what southie got, although i was watching harmon alot tonight and i thught he played pretty good so id bump up the dbs a notch.

Recognizing that we have 15 DB's, we are going to have a few easy cuts. It's early but we have the full range - from Very good to very bad. I think we have what we need but I think the first preseason games will include some less than stellar DB play to get a good look before we cut them.

He was awful. What should I say? F isn't descriptive enough of how atrocious that performance was.

First team Offense: A+ Great Pass Game Great Run Game Great Line

First team Defense: B Great front 7 four sacks, secondary still suspect.

STs: C Wasn't impressed or unimpressed.

Standouts Positive: Sufeld guess who made the team last night. Amendola a quality pick up.

Standouts Negative: Tebow love him as a person just can't see him on the team.

Mixed Feelings: Collins, not seeing anything yet that impressed me.

I watched the whole game, but missed the important stuff cause I had a FF draft. I thought the 1st team Def looked much better than vs Phi, sure we still have some work to do. I thought the pressure we got was awesome from both CJ and Nink. Kelly was a beast too. Still need work on the DB's, but I think that will come. Very impressed with how they stopped the run. I have to watch it again before I see what Collins and the young kids did. Anyone stick out from that.

I missed some of the game but what I did see.... Collins looked good.

Collins had a good game.
Always around the ball making something. I think he will be a decent kid.

1. After a tough first series, Ryan Mallett settled in and looked really good. He has great touch on intermediate and deep passes. Still needs to work on short balls, but was an all around solid game from him.
2. Tom Brady. OMG. He looks as good as I've ever seen him. Granted the Bucs DBs were awful and Revis didn't play, of course.
3. Pats starting front seven is huge, and they totally manhandled the Bucs OL. Multiple tackles for loss, four sacks. Chandler Jones looks nigh-unblockable, and Tommy Kelly, Brandon Spikes, Vince Wilfork, Rob Ninkovich and Dont'a Hightower all looked good on the line of scrimmage. I didn't see Mayo, though - did I just miss him or was there something up?

I agree his short passing skills suck to no end, and this is a screen heavy team. He needs to fix that but I don't see him staying in NE. I think he plays out his contract and moves on, probably the Jets.
