Well I have`t watched 2nd half yet by I did watch whole gm on Gamecast and looked at stats and although I saw #35 on sidelines, I didn`t see where he ever got in gm. Yay? or Nay?

Supposedly he got in at some point. I'm getting ready to rewatch the game right now so will have to keep a closer eye out for Bibbs.

I saw Bibbs go in late in the game - he is headed for the PS if he clears waivers.

Which I think the team really wants. The guy I am worried doesn't make this roster at the RB position now though is Thompson. If the Broncos have to keep 3 QB's with how well Siemian has been playing I could see RB being the position that we only keep 3 guys at.

I would hate to see Thompson cut. I was really optimistic about Ball when we drafted him, but I now favor Thompson over Ball. Whatever decision is reached, I only hope it's based on what guys have shown in practice and games, not about how they were acquired.

I wish there was a way the Broncos could trade Ball. I thought his first preseason game he looked pretty good but in the Houston game in a small amount of carries he just still looks slow. I like Anderson obviously like everyone else and Hillman at #2. Just love Hillman's speed to get to the outside and ability to catch the ball. Thompson at number 3 and hope that Bibbs can clear waivers and kept on the practice squad. Stewart in the mix as a practice squad RB as well.

I'm trying to figure out why everyone seems so high on Oz after this game. I thought he had an extremely uneven performance. Great throw to Caldwell for sure, but other than that I thought he mostly had a poor night. Some of his passes really fluttered, and even on a few of his completions the receivers had to make adjustments because the passes weren't all that accurate.

Personally, I thought he looked much better against the Seahawks.

I agree with you completely that he looked much better against the Seahawks. He didn't play terrible though, and more than anything, I just like how comfortable he looks under center. Making checks, calling out the Mike and a few other things I've noticed that are very Manning-esque. That pick he threw, I just don't think he saw that guy (whoever it was) there, but you have to give it up to him because he snatched that ball out of the air like a DB. Still a bad read by Oz and should've looked elsewhere, but I guess we can't expect perfection from him yet :D

Uneven is good way to put it. He threw some really nice balls, but he definitely under threw one or two, and was significantly behind the receiver with two of his throws that I saw. He's maturing though, and if you remember last preseason, there were several drop backs where he didn't see anything on his first read, tucked the ball and ran. I see him going through all his progressions when he has the time now and he's planted in the pocket, not dancing around on happy feet.

I think we're all in somewhat agreement that Elway has invested too much in the kid to not give him his chance when he's due. I for one am very intrigued to see what happens when he takes over the reigns........which I do see happening next year. Contract situation will obviously be on deck before we get that far, but hopefully we can make that work out without too much mess.

I also agree with the above - what sold me on the Osweiler performance against Houston was the didn't have that scared deer look in his eyes - he had some bad execution, but he didn't let it get into his head as a negative. I have noticed in training camp reports - that Os starts out wild and then gets hot. We are not talking a Peyton Manning II here. I remember very well John Elway when it looked like he couldn't complete a pass - what made John Elway great was it never shook his confidence for the next play - or the next quarter - or the next game - or the next Super Bowl. What he did against Houston - was he showed he was a guy who can make a play - some QBs never show that.

Couple of cool little pieces of information...

I also agree that what is selling me on Osweiler is not so much the numbers he has put up so far but that he actually looks like an NFL QB standing in the pocket. He is actually going through his reads which is something he had yet to do so far. Throw in he is doing the little things right such as looking off the safety. Just watch that touchdown throw to Caldwell in this last game and he is looking right the entire time until he snaps back at the last second to let it fly to Caldwell. That is an NFL QB type ability. His footwork still needs some major work as it does lead to some of his inconsistencies in accuracy. I think another year of working with Kubiak on that part of his game and this kid is ready next year to be something big for us. I'm not sure the delivery though will get much better. There is a reason he has a few passes batted like he does. He doesn't play to his height like he should and I doubt he ever fully will.

Ok so the little pieces of info...

Ronnie Hillman leads the league in rushing through 2 preseason games. Obviously nothing too much to read into some of that but still has shown how much Hillman has improved from last year to this year. He actually is #2 on the depth chart at RB because of his running in these two games and throughout training camp.

According to PFF Matt Paradis is showing to be a very high quality Center. He is ranked 3rd among all Centers (this includes all the back ups that have gotten playing time against #2 type players) in overall grade. Obviously again preseason but still shows some major promise moving forward.
