Defend from what?
Your lame excuse about why you hid for 2 months?
Nobodys buying that shit.
Had the Cavs won, you would have found plenty of free time.

Anyway, who wins more games this season, Miami or Philly?
thats a tough one--- in my predictions i had Philly slightly over Miami- as the 6th and 7th seeds--- but neither would surprise me.

Philly obviously has boat loads more talent and a higher ceiling- but Embiid is injury prone, and Fultz and Simmons have ZERO combined NBA games between them.

Counter that with Miami who has a roster full of mediocre vets that have played together.

Obviously anyone with a brain would rather have Philly's roster---- but as for regular season record? It should be close- why i have them as 6th and 7th in the East.

obviously the top 4 teams in the East are pretty much a consensus absent surpries/injuries (which do happen)---- Cleveland, Boston, Toronto and Washington.

Milwaukee- now that they have had time to develop is def. PROB the 5th best team- but again- its a pretty young roster and Parker is injured.

Honestly- it wouldnt surprise me either way. I think Philly will be anywhere from 6-9 in the East - depending on luck, injury, etc....and i think Miami will be anywhere from 5th to 9th in the East- depending on luck injury--- Milwaukee is obviously more talented than Miami- and much better off long term---- but the Heat are built for the regular season and have played together and are a veteran team.

Obviously Milwaukee and Philly are much better off long term- but Miami might have a better regular season record than either this year.

I predicted Philly to be 6th and Miami to be 7th- so ill stick to that.

I mean- in the East their are different tiers of teams---

Is Boston in Cleveland tier yet? Impossible to say before we see if/when/for what Kyrie is traded for---

for NOW though

Tier 1: Cleveland

Tier 2: Boston, Washington, Toronto

Tier 3: Milwaukee, Philly, Miami, Charlotte

Tier 4: Detroit, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Indiana, New York

Tier 87: Orlando

I'll bet you either:
A. Heat has better record or
B. Philly doesn't make the playoffs.

I wouldn't rather have Philly's roster.
I have no faith in Embiid and the others will show their youth and experience.
Nobody today gives a fuck about what they might be a few years from now because
they also all might be the next Nerlens Noel or Jahill Okafor's.
They are working on 2 decades of being terrible.
Season ticket holders want no part of that.

You keep ripping the Heat, but you can't change the fact that they are better then last year as of today, and last year finished the second half of the season playing better then most anyone.

WHAT???

cmon dude...please dont destroy any shred of credibility you might cling to.

Embiid, Simmons, Fultz, Saric,Redick, Covington etc.

prospects flame out ALL the time- even good ones- but they dont ALL flame out. And Philly has as good a collection of young talent as has been seen in the NBA in years upon years.

guys like Embiid, Simmons and Fultz turn into your DWades--- not all of them- but when you have 3 shots at it- at LEAST one of them will be a high level all star.

No one in their right mind with any shred of neutrality could possibly even imagine taking the Heats bloated payroll and collection of mediocre players over Philly.

Honestly- "what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

Yet you won't bet on that fine collection of talent.
How could they possibly be worse then a bunch of "mediocre vets"?

Tell us.
When will they be good? Elite? Champs?

because 2 of them are rookies and havent played a game yet! LOL

the Heat were 29-13 in the second half last year

according to you "they have gotten better"

Vegas has them at 43 wins

what gives?

I think they will be "good" starting this year. I think they will be "elite" and an actual contender 2-3 years from now when guys like Simmons and Fultz and Saric have time to develop--- just as i said with LA-- would i rather have LA's roster with Ball and Ingram- even though they wont sniff 42 wins- or Miami's? OF COURSE LA's--- its not even CLOSE. At least you have hope in LA that someday you might be an actual contender. Miami has no chance in hell of contending for anything with the roster they have---whether today, tomorrow- 2-3 years from now.

you know that and i know that---- at least LA and Philly and Minnesota have a legit chance at being a title contender down the line---- Miami has no chance at that since they have no way to bring in a star- no assets to trade for a star- no cap space to sign a star- and no one wants to go there.

As of today how are they not better when they are healthy and added more then they subtracted?

I say Vegas is low.

That's another bet I'll offer you.

I'll take over 43.

You accepting any or all of the 3 proposed?

If not, then please stop typing your nonsense, because obviously you don't believe it.

Back to your Philly plan.
So suck for most of 15 years(so far).
Suck really, really, really bad for at least 6.
Then hope to maybe be good in a few more.
That's what you are saying is a good, viable plan?
I'll stick to how the Heat does things.
They seem to almost always find a way to provide me with a good, entertaining team.

Why was Miami good?

they had Dwade. A star in his prime. A star that attracted other stars.

Miami now has no stars. No way to get one. No cap space. The worst collection of draft assets in the league.

Philly has 3 potential stars. For a long time they had none.

Philly will WITHOUT A DOUBT make a conference Finals or a Finals long before Miami does--- because Miami has no route to get to one.

I mean- i dont even know how you could posibly say youd rather have Miami's roster than Phillys---- that is just beyond stupid.

The HEat are pursuing the plan they are because Riley is in his 70's. He doesnt have time to do it the right way. He doesnt have time to bottom out and get a Dwade. He doesnt have time to have a wasted season and clear a bunch of cap space to be able to bring in multiple tier 1 free agents.

He did what guys do when they get desperate--- trade lightly protected picks well into the future- and spend all your money on mediocre free agents.

I mean- if you are happy with being a little above or below and losing in the first round- this version of the Heat is PERFECT for you.

If you actually want to have a chance to be great someday--- take Philly.

Thanks for the same tired rant, dodge and deflection.

tired rant?

its 100% true.

how can you even deny it

the Heat were good because they had a star.

they have no star- they have no way to get one. Youve been reduced to arguing over whether the Heat will be either kinda shitty or slightly above average. lol

ill bet you the Cavs have a better record than the Heat!!! LOL deal?

i wonder when Dwade will get bought out and be in a Cavs uniform?--- would u guess before or after the start of the new year?

Solid. Disagree about the Heat record of course but looks good. Man people are really down on the Spurs.

Only 42 wins for the Wolves?

Wow, the Clippers #5 seed? I think the teams you've listed from 6-8 will all be better than the Clips.
