Predict the Future Thread

Predict what you think will ACTUALLY happen within our staff, or what the outcome of our seasons will be, or whatever..........just pick a year (or years) to predict.

For example: In 2012, Bo Pelini leaves to take a different job, and his brother Carl becomes the new head coach at Nebraska. (just an example, not what I am really predicting )

I predict that Watson is our OC in 2011.....

I predict that after going 8-4 averaging about 10 points a game on offense..... Watson is finally fired before the bowl game next year........

If we do manage an 8 win season with the offense that took the field that 2nd half of this season, I will consider that a fucking success on many levels.

And if that happens, and Pelini doesn't fire Watson still................I will call for Pelini's head. As much as I love Bo Pelini.........I will call for his head

we go 7-5 next year, no coaching changes. After the season we fire Watson and Cotton after another Fail on Offense, Carl will take a position at a smaller school as HC, and Bo will be on his last leg

Nebraska goes 9-3 at worse next season with ZERO staff changes except of course Eckler.

Taylor is the starting QB for the first game of the season but does not finish the season as the starting QB.

I still don't give a shit about recruiting.


2012:
Tom Osborne steps down as Nebraska AD and Paul Meyers replaces him.

Shawn Watson finally gets his head coaching job somewhere.

Tim Beck takes over for Watson.

Again, if we go 9-3 next season with that same offense that we saw the 2nd half of this season............then Pelini needs to be checked to see if he is taking miracle drugs.

If Watson and Barney somehow get their heads out of their asses and start coaching, then I don't see why we can't win 10 or even 11 games.

I don't like the offense any more than you do. Look at the schedule. I am not jumping off bridges like every one else is by going into the Big 10. And usually I am the first one accused off jumping off the bridge.

Maybe this thread should be called "BOLDLY predict the future thread"

I don't know, I'm just gonna say, with the way we played against Washington in the Holiday Bowl...........I think every single team in the Big 10 would have beat us if they were playing us in that game.

Hell even Michigan has a better defense than Washington, and we managed 7 points on them!
