Arizona, like most every team, will go as far as their pitching. Injuries are the great unknown. Anything can happen. You guys should finish any where from 1st to 3rd. I love Goldschmidt, but I'm not sold on anyone else on the team. The pitching will tell the tale.

Colorado's offense will be a pain in the ass but they should be a lock to finish 5th.

San Diego could make some noise this year. Their starting pitching is a little shaky but they've got a lot of good, young talent. They could surprise some people this year. It feels like we say that about them every year though.

San Francisco made some sneaky moves. Signing Tim Hudson and Michael Morse were both under the radar low-risk, high-reward type of deals. Not sure what to make out of their team. Cain and Pablo are due for bounce back years.

San Diego will do the same thing that they do every year. Play great in some stretches, but look like one of the worst teams in the league in others.

I am thinking 90-72

and I am predicting we make the WILD CARD spot.

I am going to cast aside my original prediction because of the Corbin issue.

Now I think we will be lucky to win 85 and will not see a wild card spot.

Everyone has a chance to have a winning season...but IMO a .500 season is about the ceiling for this team as it stands today. Injuries...mid-season pickups...freak years...all these things can influence the season a great deal...

.500 is about right in this division with the talent Arizona breaks camp with.
