I say 84-78.

(this was made before the Corbin and Hernandez injuries)

Now I predict 75-87

161-1. Because that bubble gum chucking umpire will make 4 atrocious calls to ruin the first ever perfect season.

I love all the optimism! We should take a morale poll around July to see if we are still this hopeful!

I would have said 85-87 games. It just depends on the injury situation like last year. If hill can stay healthy and miggy can produce, we should be playoff bound. Trumbo has got me all hot and bothered so far with his strong play. He needs a nickname.

Not trying to be a debbie downer, but Trumbo is known for starting the year hot only to fade away in second half of the year.

Through three big-league seasons, he has hit 60 of his 95 home runs before the All-Star break, his batting average 41 points higher before (.268) than after (.227) it and his slugging percentage 107 points higher before (.517) than after (.410) it.

Not saying I believe there's such thing as a "first half player" but if there is then Trumbo is one of them.

As long as Trumbo's is above .250/.310 for the season & hits 30+ HR(s), he will be perfect for this lineup. And those are the his floor numbers. His ceiling I would imagine would be .285/.350 with 40+ HR(s). But Trumbo isn't what will make or break this team. Having Miggy return to form, Prado & Hill hitting all season long, & getting consistent pitching from both the rotation & back end of the BP are what will make & break the season for us.

For all that went wrong last season with the lineup, had the closer situation not been a clusterfuck, the Dbacks would have won at least 90 games. If that is fixed along with a healthy & improved lineup, I see no reason why we can't win at least 90 games considering that both the rotation & lineup has improved over last season's.

If Hill and Miggy can stay healthy and produce like we know they can then I think we make the playoffs. Those two guys are our x-factors.

Our bullpen looks much better this year with the addition of Reed and I'm predicting a big bounceback year from Hernandez.

I don't want to be overly optimistic just yet, but yeah... this team could easily make the playoffs if things go right.

Same yo. I've been too optimistic the last couple years and all it's done is come back to bite me in the ass.

I'd love to say "this team will win 90 games", but I've said that in 2012 and 2013 and it just didn't pan out. Once again, this year's team appears to have the necessary tools to contend (even if the starting rotation is a bit weak), but I'm not convinced that this is the year they finally put it all together.

81-81. It should be obvious by now.

The D-backs probably outplayed their talent level last year to reach that record and I think they may be a bit better this year, but they aren't catching the Dodgers barring their rotation contracting the plague.

The D-backs have mastered mediocrity, made average look awesome, and I expect this blossoming tradition to continue.

120-42. Goldschmidt hits .400 with 90 home runs and Corbin wins the Cy Young unanimously.

But really, if all the guys on this team perform to their usual stat lines we can win 90 games.

However I expect more underachieving and another 81-81 season.

Corbin will win every game he starts and surrender only 1 run per game giving him the lowest ERA ever in baseball history!

82-80

I think this is the year you get over the hump!!!!!

Wait, you guys still have KT? Never-mind, 81-81.

Hahaha, just joshing ya guys. I think AZ will have a better year than last year. I just wonder how the rest of the div will look, mostly SF. I think you guys can have a winning record, maybe 85-90 wins (give or take). Hoping you guys get the Wildcard!!!!
