The Warriors didn't really show much either until they started winning titles.

I'm not so sure about that.

In many ways, they are completely different players now. Harden wasn't even a starter when they played together.

I think if it's going to work at all, Harden will have to be the one to give up the ball and let Westbrook be the PG/Playmaker. Harden is a much better shooter, so he can stretch floor giving Westbrook more open lanes to the hoop. I'm just not sure Harden will be willing to play off ball enough for it to truly work.

Having said that, whatever happens, the Rockets will be entertaining. If they can figure it out, they'll be entertaining because they'd be really good and a real threat.

If they don't, they'll fail spectacularly, which would also be entertaining. lol

Yeah, all part of the growth process. But yeah, their offense is a bit sketchy, so you're probably right to not trust them yet.

Harden was a young pup with a very different game and he wasn't the focus of the offense as the dominate scorer, he was a 3rd option at best. Both Harden and Westbrook have turned into ball dominate players with little interest in sharing control of the offense. Who is the offense going to run through? Are they going to trade off 50/50? How do the players adjust if Westbrook is the primary ball handler? How happy is either one of them going to be if they don't get the touches they want? Lots to figure out my friend, lots to figure out.
