Alf set a new Skins rushing record of 1600+ yards at almost 5 yards a pop, the defense came up with big plays at key times, Kai went 17/18 on FGs. A HUGE pt ret from Richard Crawford probably at the most opportune time that year against Baltimore, KC balled out in his only starting gig against Cleveland. Hell, the Redskins scored as many TDs on 12 Gfiffin fumbles, 2 TDs, as opponents recoveries, 2. The Skins went 9 and 1 in the 10 games Garcon played in. that year.
You're right. Lets not get carried away. Griffin led the Skins to the NFC East title and playoffs in 2012, but he had help and it came at real key times.
RG3 was paramount is the skins going to the playoffs that year. But it was in a specific scheme tailored to take advantage of his limited skill set.....primarily his running ability. That threat opened up other opportunities including Alf being successful and Robert's passing to wide open receivers as the defense froze due to his threat to run. Unfortunately his injury and ego killed that scheme.Cmon man. It's no coincidence Alf enjoyed his most success with RG3 under center. I'm not saying RG3 was the only reason they had success that year, but he made everything go.

Jon Blaze said:2012 was pretty much all RG3.
