Saying you're happy that the man is dead is contemptible.

You may need to work on your reading comprehension. I never said I was happy the man is dead. I said that I was happy for the implications of his death on the Mariners franchise. I would never wish death on anyone.

Before someone calls me a douchebag for celebrating a man's death, that is not what this is. I am celebrating the implications of his death on the Mariners franchise.

What I said in my original post ^

I doubt that he "saved baseball in Seattle" out of the kindness of his heart.

He made a massive amount of money by purchasing the team. The man saw an investment opportunity and took it.

As I said, I honestly don't care if the post seems "classless" the fact is that this is likely good news for the franchise. We have been hoping for a change in ownership for a very long time. This could likely finally cause that outcome.

Who cares what his motives were with saving baseball in Seattle, fact is he did it. Hate the guy, Howie and Chuckie or whover, fact is without them you have no major league team in Seattle since there is no Slade Gordon in office.

But I disagree in a sense that it was more of a let's buy it. There was no guarantee of making a massive amount of money when he became the majority owner, there was no Safeco Field, no fan base and literally nothing to say the team with quadruple in value but faith.

The post doesn't seem classless, it is in fact classless, shows how little character you have and every fan of any Seattle team should be ashamed that someone would be actually post that

why would nintendo sell?

they're completely indifferent to a winning franchise, and are about to make a guaranteed $2 billion with the root sports majority acquisition.

congrats to them, and to the idiots who rejoice in the brand of joke baseball currently in seattle with no end in sight.

Shows how little character I have? Because I'm happy the team may finally may move in the right direction?

Sorry to tell you this but I could not care less what some moron WSU graduate has to say. The fact that you think you can judge my character over a post on an Internet forum really displays the kind of intellect you have. But one should expect as much from someone who could only get accepted to WSU.

You won't see me shed any fucking tears for this guy, and your holier than thou attitude would be laughable if it was not so fucking pathetic, Wazzu. You remind me of one of those coffee shop neck beard hipster liberals who thinks he's better than everyone because of some imaginary sense of character.

There isn't an MLB team in Seattle.
