Minnifield did indeed draw interest from other teams once he cleared waivers, I'm told. But Minnifield preferred to return where he started

He's loyal. The Redskins gave him a chance both in signing him after the draft and again after he reinjured his knee. Makes me like him even more. With Wilson and Hall with contracts up next year, he has potential for a long term future here if he wants it.

OH i get it. But generally when we sign guys to the PS, I tend to hope its some one who MIGHT be promotion worthy during the season should injuries happen. to be honest I never even noticed Hamilton this pre season.
