So, so far that's Williams, Stevens, Compton, Jamison, Nixon to the PS. Told team wants TE Ogbuehi too but no deal yet.

More than likely Chase is in no rush to sign to the practice squad as he is better than quite a few 3rd/4th CBs currently on rosters around the NFL. And both he and his agent know it.

I think Chase and his representation are working hard to see who'd be interested in adding him to a team's 53 man roster. 50/50 chance he'll be back IMO.

I think the only way he is signed to our PS is if other teams around the league don't want to take a risk with his injury history.

Past that, of all the CBs cut, Minnifield was the highest rated DB who was cut based on preseason performance.

Have to disagree there Skinsdad. Right now two of our projected CB's are on the last year of their deal. If nothing else having Minnifield around and on contract would likely mean that we are looking for another DB next year. 24 hours later the move to hold onto White as a 4th QB still looks sketchy. If Minnifield signs else where and actually contributes this year while White is just the water boy, the move will look down right stupid at that point.

look shark , i like chase and feel he should be on the team . it didnt cost us a draft pick , he didnt cost us a lot of cash and he is still like the last guy on the depth chart this year anyway .

we have a draft , we have FA , so if we need a cb (when) i think we are in good shape .

we would be better i think if we kept chase over white but lets see how this pans out over the course of the next few days /weeks
