According to Jason LaCanfora, Packers QB coach , Ben McAdoo - is expected to be a top candidate to replace Sherman. He is also expected to interview with the Giants. Fins have the edge due to his familiarity with Coach Philbin, who will not be going anywhere.

I hope the Fins ultimately hire him or someone of a lesser name like him who most Fins fans wont know - It will bring out the truth about an alarming number of the fan base - who, wont know who the guy is and solely because of that will see reason to criticize the hire.

In one way I like a young mind coming in who knows the system. But on the other hand will he be too similar to Sherman? Either way anything would be an improvement. If Philbins the problem we'll know after next season no matter who they hire....

Walker just put out a list with Mcadoo as the tops. His only problem is lack of experience does Philbin bet the farm on that or maybe take on play calling for now? I think it's best if they stick with a west coast guy so that rules out guys like Chud and hopefully norv turner....although you never know.

I'd love Mike but not sure if Philbin would want him breathing down his back....his son Kyle may be a better fit anyway as that's what he does and he could bide his time for a HC shot one day.

Philbin isnt going anywhere - At least not until NEXT off-season - So, we can put that to rest for now. I dont know if I mentioned this before, but Gary Kubiak is another candidate for OC

I'm glad he's coming in as he's experienced and has a sound mind. They should arrange appointments so they don't lose anyone but hire a GM first so he can take part....
