I didn't agree with Danny's comment that I thought the Harris Group was cash poor. The total net worth of the group is something like $50 billion. I think Harris tried to structure the deal somewhat like a private equity investor and the owners wanted more assurance in case of default.

I think Harris has wanted a team. He put up a fair offer for Denver but he doesn't have Walton type money so he bowed out. As long as Bezos didn't enter the bidding or Washington he has been the lead bidder all along. It just takes time.
