I didn't see this team winning the way are right now and its great to watch. It has been a fun team to watch, something that you couldn't say about this team for years.
That said I am not entirely convinced this is real yet. Before the start of the season I had the belief that this team had a lot of question marks as far as what we would get with certain players and I still think this team has a lot of question marks.
There is reason to be optimistic for sure, they are finding ways to win games that were sure losses in seasons past. There are certain players performing very well, some unexpected. There are also reasons to be a little cautious some guys are still under performing but its been masked by the play other guys.
All that said its nice to win games. Go M's!!!
Also when Cano comes back in August he should help with that push as well.
But here is the thing regarding that; Why play him? He can't play in the playoffs so why sit guys that can? If they are still in it when he gets back, then obviously he wasn't needed.

Well, we had a prediction poll in early March, so none of us can really hide from what we said. I was smarter than all of you. I predicted the team would win 95 games! The evidence is right here: How many games will the Mariners win this yearIll admit I had them at 78 wins or so.
Although its still just the end of May. However when you look at the rest of the AL there is reason for optimism. Assuming the Yankees/Red Sox occupy one WC spot, the Angels seem to be the only other team to watch at this point. If they can survive June then I believe a lot more.
You said any of the following:
We need to blow it up and rebuild
Ever since this tread was created....
Can we wait until the end of the regular season at least to ask about people eating crow? Maybe?
If they keep on the way they're going, it'll be interesting to see what Servais does with Cano. Maybe he does keep him out so it has no effect on the team psyche. But here is the thing regarding that; Why play him? He can't play in the playoffs so why sit guys that can? Every time I ever give anything positive about this team they go into a tailspin. So fuck the M's and their management.Just go with it, it's rare we can have positivity on the board.

On paper though, it'd be awesome having him at 1B with Healy coming off the bench for the stretch run.
