I want Cle vs Cincy with Cleveland winning in 7.


Knowing my luck this season it will probably be A's/Doyers

Tonight, we have a 163... TB @ Tex.

I have no probs with either of these teams.

Texas has taken some serious hits to its roster the last few years, and they continue to contend every year. You have to respect that. They lost in the WC game last year, but I think they actually WANTED to lose that game to avoid 3 straight, and because everyone hated Hamilton. I think they are ready for another run this year.

TB has some offensive issues, but their pitching is stacked. Remind you of anyone? They also have David Price on the bump tonight.

I do not care who wins, but I think TB takes it tonight.

Yep ... my choice as well .... two very deserving teams. But I also fear the freaking doggies. They have a lot of talent but so does Atlanta. Now that Kemp is out for the postseason that puts a lot of additional pressure on LA.

I can hear it now if LA gets knocked out by Atlanta .... if only Kemp ......

You know, I think I'm switching my Tampa pick to Detroit. Detroit doesn't have to win 2 must win games to get in the tourney of course, and their top starters are actually pitching better than Tampa's. Their pen is their main issue.

It's the playoffs, it's crapshoot time.

While I like TB, having to START with 2 elimination games makes it DAMNED tough to move forward.

I'm a Steeler fan so I can stomach another Pittsburgh team making it. Plus I like McCutchen & they've been perennial losers for 20+ years. and Tampa has about 10k fans total, therefore I don't have to hear any gloating/shit talking if they win. I literally do not know any Tampa fans IRL. It'll be like it never even happened.

And my luck? Boston vs. LA.

Going for Pitt in the NL.

In the AL, call me a bad fan but I'll be keeping my eye on the A's and pulling for them. That way, if they do happen to win the W.S., the Giants can say "See, you don't need the SJ territory to have a championship team"

Other teams I wouldn't mind seeing, I guess Cincy in the NL, but I don't really like any of the teams. And anyone except the Red Sox in the AL, but pulling mostly for Cleveland and Oakland. I would also like to see Tampa do it so we can see some other teams win championships in that division outside of the top 2.
