where did you find a video of the game where you can actually see the receivers routes? I've been looking all over and I can't find anything that shows anything but our O-line and QB.

I remember several times, ABC running replays where they zoomed out and Kirk would point out how Tommy missed the open guy. Once was Westerkamp sitting in the perfect spot in a zone, another was Moore (I think) streaking wide open for the endzone.

The game needs to slow down for Tommy. Whether it will or not remains to be seen.

He's got a better long ball than Taylor had, but Taylor had a better short range pass. Taylor was faster running, Tommy is more elusive and knows how to take a hit.
At this point Tommy is the same as Taylor when it comes to the mental aspect of the game. I always assumed once Taylor became a junior or senior that things would eventually click, but they never did. That's why I don't make that assumption with Tommy. The mental part of the position is just as, if not more important than the physical part.

There is a plethora of 4/5 star QB's out of high school that never grasped the speed of the college game.

Yea there were passes Tommy missed. Like I said, he was rattled. This was his first real test and it was a tough one. You got the OLine slobbering all over themselves, Defense clapping and messing with your signals, rowdy crowd, Ameer can't get going, every time you drop back you have to step up in the pocket to try and avoid pressure.....only to find more pressure. It's a recipe for disaster that not even a Jameis Winston would have passed.

Just like I said before, this is the best medicine for Tommy. He's got the competitive edge to take this and learn from it. He will be much more mentally prepared moving forward because of this one game.

The pressure coming off the ends was really 95% of the problem. We were too slow to stop it and it was the death of us.

lol JJM I respect your continual analysis of this game.

I would just prefer to forget this game forever.

This bye week has come at a perfect time. Heal up mentally and physically, make some SERIOUS personnel evaluations at OL, then go out and destroy NW.

At the beginning of the year everyone knew what we were getting with this OL: A raw inexperienced group that would experience some growing pains. We saw those growing pains.

Simple to analyze really. The average fan always wants to point to the QB when issues arise. The QB's production is really just the end-product.

Offensive Line is where everything begins to materialize. This is our Offensive Line right now.....

And so we see the end results we did in East Lansing.

Price was out? I noticed he didn't play, but I must have missed the report he was out.

I wanna know how far along our other guys are. Where are Stanton and Darlington at?

Sterup at 75% and Price out kinda hurt

I really would prefer if you didn't dilute this with that god awful Callahan run site. He really has one of the more punchable faces I've ever seen.

I appreciate what recruiting services do, but when they pretend to know about journalism and reporting actual news I become violently ill.

I REALLY need to end my subscription to that site here in the next 48 hours before I get charged again.

Please remind me tonight or something.

Last time I called in 2 days before my renewal date and they said, "well, you're gonna be charged for this month." I asked why and the guy goes, "it's the uhhhh 2 day rule, yea that's what it is." I was like WTF. Apparently somewhere in the fine print when you sign up you agree that if you don't cancel within 48 hours of your renewal date then they reserve the right to charge you if they want for the next month.

It's the dumbest money I spend.
