Foles has proven he is a team player at least and not a distraction.

Most QBs are system QBs and can have good seasons with the right players around them. Not sure what your point is here.

He is proving he can flop where everybody would flop. Most people think Tavon Austin is their leading WR. Sadly, it is Kenny Britt. This is Foles' first season in an offense with ZERO weapons in the passing game. BTW, Foles was not a GM with the Eagles.

IF KC plays the rest of the season like he has played recently, I agree with you. I wil bump him to 12 mil/season. I never said I wouldn't. If you guys would actually read the written word, you would see I expect him to falter a bit in the coming weeks. That puts him at 8-10 mil.

Chill out - we are all basically Redskins fans. No need to jump all over anyone - peace.

Anyhow - if you would also read my replies you would see that the numbers are based on Cousins doing well for the remainder of the season. If he falters (especially in a big way) then the demand for his services elsewhere will be minimal. However - if his play continues to get better he will warrant a much higher contract & it likely will be higher than what you suggest.

Again - it doesn't matter what you or I believe that he is worth. It is all about supply and demand & how much the Redskins really want to keep him. These factors can cause the overall contract amounts to be somewhat overinflated - that is just business.

Just a quick question. Are you wanting him to get better than his overall stats? How he played earlier in the year? Or his last three games where he had 8 or 9 TD passes, 2 TD rushes, 1 INT a dropped pass and a 117 QB rating?

Not sure why you think we can't understand what you've written. We just disagree. Doesn't mean we are right or you are right. They are just opinions. I think you have significantly underestimated his demand in FA if he continues to play like he has so far this year. And if he is in high demand, then his price rises.

KC is on pace for 4000 yds passing 25 tds and 16 ints in year one as a starter . to pay him below 21st in the nfl with those numbers is pure fantasy 8-10 mil is below 21st

I keep saying you guys can't read because of what you wrote right here.

I have stated numerous times that I don't think he will continue to play like he has the last two weeks. I think he will regress a bit because of better competition. That is why I said he will be an 8-10 million dollar guy.

I have also said, if he continues to play like he is, then his pay will obviously go up.

Everybody keeps saying he will be in high demand but I don't see it. There are plenty of rookie QBs coming out of school that will be cheaper. Teams that will definitely be looking to improve this offseason include:

Houston-likely in the draft
Buffalo-perhaps but do they think KC is worth the money? Doubt it.
NYJ-maybe but Geno is under contract and young. Would they give him a big contract? Doubt it.
Denver-may actually make the most sense. Peyton could be done and Kubiak thinks like a Shanahan who likes KC. They could choose to go after KC instead of resigning Osweiler.
Detroit-perhaps but they would probably go draft one.
Chicago-maybe but is KC worth more than JC?
Philadelphia- could make a ton of sense depending on the draft.

I just don't see people lining up for KC when they have other "show me" options such as an RGME.

Again, it's not a lack of understanding, it's a lack of agreeing. As someone posted earlier, you need to chill a bit.

No...people need to stop misquoting me.

If people read the entire post with some form of comprehension, they would see we agree on most things. The only thing in question may be the success of KC for the remainder of the season.

LOL I just watched that too. He said the Redskins were the most physical team he played against this year. You know McCloughan is smiling over that.
