Possible OJ Mayo-Eric Bledsoe trade

OJ is meeting with Doc Rivers right now. I must say I like the moves dallas is making so far.

Would much rather "miss out" on D12 and sign a few good younger guys with cap room next year to pick up more CBA casualties. Dwight doesn't make us contenders, but ties our hands from getting good upper-to-middle caliber players. If we could spin OJ into Bledsoe that would be amazing.

Yeah, that's the problem with Dwight.

He wants top dollar, but then wants you to get more talent.......without him sacrificing a few bucks to help facilitate getting said talent.

I'd also rather not have him if we can get more talent, but we need a another star player, and I have no idea who that will be if not Howard

i will take howard and dirk........we saw what dirk and chandler did

next year when dirk takes his paycut then we will get more talent

if we get dwight i wouldnt expect a championship this year

I'm a mix of both of you. good if we get him, can see upside if we don't. Honestly I think Houston gets him. we do need another star, and don't see us drafting one any time soon.

So now they're offering Caron Butler and J Crawford for Mayo......if Butler is healthy that's doable too

Before he blew out his knee we had the best record in the league. Teams couldn't double Dirk because he was going for 20+ a night.

I think many teams and fans think this very same way... In regards to Howard that is.

I'd hold out for Bledsoe, but wouldn't hang up on the other two guys. Heck, sweeten the deal with a 2nd rounder next year and get it done Donny.

yeah it was early......but he fit his role perfectly, especially with bringing Terry off the bench. We were as explosive an offense as we've ever been, and teams couldn't match up most nights.

Bledsoe would be a heck of a get. I am not sure how Butler and Crawford would help. Crawford is a nice piece to a title contender as a bench scorer, but the Mavs have a lot of holes to fill.

Dirk was flat out amazing that series. But he wasn't the only one on that title team:

Chandler: Yes Dwight could fill that role.
PG: Kidd and Barea. The former was a great spot up shooter and general for the offense. Barea shredded Miami's defense back in the 2011 Finals
Terry: Spark off the bench.

Also, Sean Marion is now 35 years old and he was an intricate part of the team as well.

Milwaukee's part of the deal is laughable. I hope for their sake they're bad enough for a top 5 pick next year.
