But his podcasts are funny and interesting for the most part.

I like Bill Simmons not for his Boston homerism, but for all the 80s and 90s pop culture references.
It's like Family Guy for sports.
Where else can you use Karate Kid, Rounders, etc. to write entire columns.
Sure, might not agree with all his commentary, but his columns were always good for a few laughs.
Now, maybe not so much.....

The Ringer is a niche website.

He gave up on writing because he wasn't getting close to the amount of web traffic he got funneled to Grantland Thru ESPN.

it's not profitable enough because he is an acquired taste.

I know tons of people who like his stuff.

I'm just not one of them.

I do like some of their podcasts, especially JJ's.

They probably aren't pulling in quite the haul of those cesspool pods broadcast on Barstool.

But, I'd imagine he is doing pretty well, especially if he's still being subsidized by HBO.

shiiiiiit the Suns have been drafting at the top of the lotto for years and still are gonna maybe get the #1 pick again...your Lakers were terrible for 5 years and still got tons of high picks.....

Zion would help but a 19 year old Zion doesnt help THAt much.......

OKC was bad enough after drafting Durant to draft RW and Harden.



2023 Cavs will have Zion, Wise and Bronny Jr., and have a broken down LeBron as a 4th option!!!
