Well, I said they didn’t convert for a reason. While I think Hamler should have been able to reel it in, it was a good but not great throw. I think your overstating it a bit on both sides, Springy. Just my humble opinion.

hamler was wide open by NFL standards

Speaking of Hamler, are we going to see a shot deep downfield every game to him? We’ve seen it in preseason and now in the first regular season game. I hope so, sure has to give safetys something to worry about and not cheat up quite so quickly.

Yeah that is something Denver has to do every game. One bomb to Hamler and one to Sutton every game.

IMO- It wasn’t a tough catch.
I think Hamler would be the first person to admit that. I like how Bridgewater showed no negative emotion after it. Such a good teammate.

In defense of Pump, he wasn’t saying Hamler shouldn’t have caught the ball. Just that it wasn’t a great pass.
