This is why head coaches need to worry about coaching, and a General Manager is coordinating personnel including the draft. The head-coach centric model does not work unless you have an era defining talent like Tom Brady.

Absolutely an indictment that Rivera was a terrible talent evaluator, and never should have been put in that position. That is franchise malpractice. We knew the team needed a long-term QB and that Snyder meddled once again, and this was a chance to correct it. RT was a need when we picked Davis, and a long-term solution to Leno was something to begin looking at, and Harrison is a game-changer who would have excelled here despite Del Rio.
