well those aren't my words but straight off the internet. Personally speaking. I firmly believe Austin has seen his last days with a star on his helmet.

Me too. The Free situation did not remove his cap problem. Look up what he will count against the cap from this point on and compare it to his level of play. Austin is not needed. If we aren't willing to cut a guy at a position that we don't even need him to help our cap, who are we willing to cut? Even offering him a reduced salary contract would be a bad idea. Just cut him. The only question should be pre-6/1 or post 6/1. Post 6/1 seems to be the common sense answer, but it really all depends on how much of Romo and some of the other guys salaries we restructure and when we plan on resigning Dez and Smith. Each depends on the other.

I wasn't disagreeing with those words. I was agreeing with them and explaining them. Cutting or trading Austin "results in more than $5 million in 2015 dead money", $5,105,200 to be precise, but $2,748,400 of it is already there.

I kind of doubt that Jerrah is smart enough to cut Ware. I just shook my head when he extended Rat. There are just too many horrible contracts over the years. The Newman contract was another bad one. The list goes on and on. Jerrah needs to stop giving out huge contracts to 30 year old players. Thank god Philly outbid Asaoghmua

While we are chatting about cuts we should also look at the coaching staff. A change may be needed at secondary coach.
